Comic description
Meet Charlie, a foul mouthed twelve-year-old who would rather play video games than do her homework. She attends a high class school, loves skateboarding, and bullies her best friend into wreaking havoc on authority figures. Oh and one more thing. She’s dead!
In the afterlife, Charlie has been placed into the “Grim Reaper School”, the place where the souls of children go if they have unfinished business left behind. Unfortunately for Charlie, before the judges could even decide what to do with her, a weapon of mass destruction places itself in her hands, and she is assigned the task of babysitting the school’s hyper and psychotic headmaster (who forgot to lock the stupid thing up in the first place!). This kid is convinced she’s been cheated, but she’ll soon learn that there’s more to being a Reaper than wearing a black cloak and waving a scythe around.

I've contemplated just putting GRS on an extended hiatus or just not working on the project anymore at all but I have too much of the story left to tell, too much left that I want to do with it, so I'm going to give it a second chance when I come back from working in August, and see how far I can get with it.
We'll see I guess. The future for everything just looks really grim and shitty right now :\
So everyone have a good summer, take care of yourselves, and hopefully everyone will see GRS back and active in a month. Here's hoping anyway.
Blah.

Anyway, going to be making some changes and overhauling some things. I have some massive writers block and haven't been able to write chapter 5 so I'm going to go on with some short stories so the comic isn't sitting empty. I WAS going to save them for the book versions but meh.
So basically I haven't been able to update often because of life complications. out of respect for the family I have to keep it discreet but basically we are desperate for money, not like "selling drugs on the street" desperate but yeah. it was rather unexpected. So I'm trying to rope in some commissions and working on extra projects to make some money, and getting ready for some cons. I was also trying to go to England to see my boyfriend but I've had to give up all the money I saved up just to pay off some bills and feed myself 8| So if anyone likes my art style or knows someone who is looking for rather cheap commissions, spread the word for me??
Here's my commission info: http://grimreaperschool.thecomicseries.com/blogarchive/3820
Also, I just came out with my artbook/zine Ghost Light. GRS Chapter 4 is in it (in print!!) and it also contains some other stuff like original art, doodles, a story, and character profiles from my different projects. It's $25 for print, and $10 for ebook. Here's the info on that:

So yeah. I'm going out of town in a week so if anyone wants to do some guest comics or fanart I can upload when I can't update, feel free! I have some volunteers but since I haven't been able to write anything... well that's total fail.
I will try to update as soon as I can though. Sorry if you all are disappointed but, these times are shitty. What else can you do? Life is life. But thanks for sticking with the comic, if you're still around.
Outward and onward!

About time, huh?
Yeah things have been pretty rough over here, and still are, but I'm just trying to keep going forward and find some kind of outlet. GRS being one of them I have some new projects in the works that I'll talk about later, but enjoy this week's page. I wanted to go back to two pages a week but for now, one will have to do.
Yes, Alex is sporting a braid, and yes finally Corey has been thrown into the mix: OFFICIALLY!
See you guys next week. Hopefully earlier than Thursday.
