Far into the future the atmosphere has become unbreathable, and machines have evolved from protecting humans to trying to protect humans from themselves.
Monstrosities created by the machines wander the wasteland outside the few remaining human city barriers, threatening to attack.
Amidst all this horror, a young woman awakens in a facility filled with thousands of other sleeping "patients". Why is she the only one awake? why are the mysterious keepers of this facility chasing her?
