Comic description

When three kids escape from a shady research facility, where humans are being experimented on and dark deeds are happening unnoticed by the rest of the world, they find themselves in the middle of the desert, with no food, no water, and barely able to get along with each other. When their only friend in the world, Emily, is "kidnapped" by government officials, they boldly and stubbornly chase after her, hoping to find her as well as some clues about their past. But Emily is not all that she seems...

On the way, they run into several strange and bizarre characters who rarely help and often cause more trouble for them. Augustos is a purely adventurous story with a bit of action and humor squeezed into it!

You know all about those, don't you? :p

Yeah, I was trying to go for something a little surreal and empty-feeling. Trying to capture that Dali feeling.

Mysterious dream visions...

I do love the color, all a bit off from reality, but totally cool.

I probably should have gone with a "splash" effect... But ker plunk is so much fun.

Gotcha, its just the 'Ker Plunk' effect that made me wonder. That's the sound I associate with something being dropped into water. And the background suggests he is closer to a wall now.

He's being pulled under, which might seem odd because the water appears so shallow. So it might be a little hard to read, I dunno. But it's supposed to be a little weird.
