When three kids escape from a shady research facility, where humans are being experimented on and dark deeds are happening unnoticed by the rest of the world, they find themselves in the middle of the desert, with no food, no water, and barely able to get along with each other. When their only friend in the world, Emily, is "kidnapped" by government officials, they boldly and stubbornly chase after her, hoping to find her as well as some clues about their past.
