And again with the anachronistic music, the number these fine gals are performing here is It Ain't Right by Stuff Smith, which would later be sampled in an amazing Caravan Palace song, Rock It For Me, both of which are well worth a listen, you can thank me later.
Also the existence of this cabaret joint is something of an anachronism, as cabaret proper didn't really take the shape by which we recognize it today until the 1890s but it was around this period (1886) that what would become the first cabaret, Le Chat Noir, opened in Montmatre, where Jess is now. It was followed in the 1890s by places like the Moulin Rouge and such. Le Chat Rouge, as you can guess, is the two smushed together.
This page received a fair bit of atmosphere editing in post, the lighting the club was quite hard to get right as was the sunset.

Anyway, somehow completely unintentionally, this page ended up not having any dialogue. I always thought that my establishing before was too brief, so I thought I'd take a good few panels to establish that yes, this is Paris.
Also, A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES!
