What did I ever do to you, perspective, to make you so mean to me? Anyways, now we see the source of the sound from before. I drew many different types of creatures before this one, which is modeled on a picture of a Hydra I found on Google Images. I really am not one to do well at monster design (as evidenced by the Garnisian before).

I nearly got them all in that last panel. But we're starting to see what each character's duties are in this story. It would seem TNT has a bit of a death wish. And Jaguar Man continues to flirt, of course.

So the mystery man from the other page is shown. I'm pretty sure it was obvious it was Electric Ray, since he was the only team member that hadn't been shown yet. And he tells us exactly where he contributes to the plot of this issue. It's interesting to put a non-costumed character into the bunch. I also like Koi Lusa's line about it being like a convention.

Sorry about the quality of the art. I was tired when penciling, falling asleep. During inking, the next day, I tried to salvage things, but the page did get drawn progressively worse.

It's getting kinda catty in here. The differences between Koi Lusa and Jaguar Man are very apparent here. And hey, I get to draw more Ebony, and this time I think I did better. It's nice when you actually look up reference pictures of jaguars (well, one of a jaguar and one of a black panther).

I also had to put in Jaguar Man's comment in the last panel. Anyone can talk to animals, but it's whether concepts can pass between the person and the animal that counts.

So the two plot elements shown so far officially interact with each other. But Koi Lusa seems a little beliggerent. Even Wonderson forgives TNT, and he was the one who got shot! Koi Lusa seems to have a bit of a temper. But really, I liken him to Batman for this team, so of course he'll be a bit hard-edged.
