You're doing this to enjoy it, right? There's no reason you should be stressing over it.

I really do enjoy it and im still doing it for fun, Its not really stressing me out, I Just set a personal deadline to keep me on track and I'm already falling behind. I'm just looking for ways to make it a little less time consuming.

There was a really good discussion on color vs. B&W in the General Webcomic Banter thread, about page 35 or so. And there's a whole thread devoted to how color works floating around in the Webcomic and Art Discussion board. I'd find it for you if I wasn't on my phone. :S

I'd really love to read those. I'll search for them.

whether in B&W or color. the idea is to make the page pop out at the reader. You can do it with shadow placement, tones/detail. Give the eye something to track its attention.

I don't have a lot of black and white experience (In illustrator) and I think I rely a bit too heavily on using colour to make my images visually interesting. Maybe this would be a good exercise.

Hey thanks for the quick feedback
I really appreciate it

Im drawing the fourth page of me comic and I've already fallen behind a week. I think I was a little to ambitious to try and go into a comic like this thinking I could sketch, ink, and colour all these pages in a week and still have a life. I think after this fourth page I'll just start doing black & white pages until Im a bit better at this. You guys think that thats a good idea?

I buy and play plenty of video games (most recently ssx, Dragon Age 1&2 and skyrim) but for some reason I always get bored of them eventually and go back to playing ea skate from 2004. I don't understand why but I have a hard time staying interested in most games but I can, and do, play that game for a couple hours every day. Even Skate 2 and 3 dont hold the same appeal.

Just watched the whole "The Man With No Name" series. Spaghetti westerns are the best.

Hey I just started a comic called Sicknasty. I'm new to the whole webcomic thing and I’m mostly doing this to progress my art and force a deadline onto myself. I eventually want to print it so I'll probably go back and edit pages to conform to the evolved style. Anyways I've got some art experience and I have read lots of comic books and webcomics but this is my first time doing anything remotely like this project. I was hoping that I could ask you fine people for some critique. I only have three pages done thus far so I’m mostly trying to figure out if I have made any huge errors right off the bat that should be remedied. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Chase

Bet you've never heard that one before. The comic im doing is mostly to improve my art and my illustrator proficiency. Im only doing it web comic style to give myself a bit of a deadline and reason to continually work on it. Im not really looking for tonnes of views but I would be really really appreciative of feedback or constructive criticism.
this is my comic

giver a look and let me know what you think if you so desire.

Thanks
