I deeply regret not going to Thought Bubble in Leeds last November, and missing out on Tom Siddell (GunnerKrigg Court). >:
So this year I don't want to make the same mistake.

I'll definitely go to Thought Bubble THIS November.
Kate Beaton (Hark! A Vagrant) is gonna be there! *u*
But that's still quite a ways off, and there's quite a few sooner than that. :D

The closest (in time and geography) to me is the Birmingham Comic Con, guests yet to be announced.
Considering Siddell lives in Birmingham, I have my fingers crossed. >u>


I'd lovelove to meet up with other CFers, so if you're interested, we could all have a big bonding day out together. :D

I would go to Thought Bubble, but I come from the South West so it's a long travel. I'll be going to the Bristol Comics Convention in May though!

But it's not really a 'comic con', just like, a sci-fi/fan convention.

i actually have a friend going to it, and after hearing all they had to say about it i still had no idea it was even vaguely comic related :/

Ohey! New perk I just thought of! Moving to Portland I'll be within three or four hours (driving time) of Seattle Washington, so I'll be able to make it to THIS! Nearly twenty thousand people in attendance!

It's mainly for people into the Japanese Entertainment industry, but I've heard thats it's grown to include everything from Star Wars and Firefly fans to Superman and Batman fans to Twilight and other crappy romance novel fans. It's like a giant mish-mash of all things geeky! :D

It's not as long as it seems, besides, It's a great opportunity to get drawing done! :D

Google maps doesn't have the most accurate train time knowledge, either.
But yeah I understand, long journeys aren't for everyone. P:

So I just found this thread and have to second the notion of coming to the MCM Expo in May!

Cake'll be cosplaying Kandi and I'll be cosplaying an upcoming character (who was going to be out before Expo, but then my schedule sucked and pages don't come out of my nowhere. ;A;)

You should totally come and find us. ♥ I will be a little busy on the Saturday and Sunday however, considering I run the Valve meetups.
