"Mafia:The Movie", 25th Feb 2012, 9:29 PM #1
The auditions had gone rather well, despite ending in a short amount of time. Then again, the director didn't care. He wanted to make his movie, and he didn't care who he hired to star in it. All he wanted was to create the best Mafia movie ever. For the rest of the night, he watched all of the audition tapes, then chose their roles based on what he saw. As the final role was decided, a smile appeared on his face. This is going to be a masterpiece, he thought to himself as he wrote the last role down.
As he departed for the night, however, he failed to see the pair of eyes looking through the window near his desk, watching with an unknown intent in mind.
-The Next Day-
All twenty of the people that auditioned had been told via e-mail to arrive at Fury Studios before noon to talk about the movie. What they were told is that all of them had gotten a part in the movie. The list was placed near the opening to the studio.
Several of them were happy that they were able to star in the movie, while others wished they had gotten better parts. Then, an idea struck them:who was the star? An argument had begun, eventually catching the director's attention when someone threatened to curb stomp one of the others. In an attempt to calm them down, he tried yelling for their attention, but to no avail. Finally, he had enough, and grabbed the air horn nearby, pressing down on the button. Everyone covered their ears due the obnoxious noise and glared at the director once it passed.
Eventually, all of them went inside the studio as some of the soon-to-be stars started to act giddy just by being inside. For the next hour, they went on a tour of the studio, with the director showing off some of the cameras. To him, he was excited to show them the piece of technology. To the others, they were annoyed by how he was showing off something they already knew about.
Finally, at the end of the tour, the director passed out the script for them to look over, then warned them that rehearsals would start in an hour. At first, excitement had flowed through all of them like a river. However, when they started to look through the script, they were horrified by the writing they were seeing. Several of them began making comments about how absurd the story was, how out of character some of them were, especially Adesa, and how some of the elements, such as the BFG the Survivor carried, made no sense in the setting, which was supposedly in the 1960s. However, when they tried to tell the director about it, he didn't listen, and after the hour had passed, the rehearsals had begun.
That night, when the rehearsals finally ended after seven hours, all of the cast members were regretting signing up for this. The only good thing, in their eyes, were the trailers that they were allowed to stay in. Upon entering them, most of them went to sleep on the somewhat uncomfortable beds that were provided for them. They were wishing that something would happen to get them out of this movie.
However, one person was still awake...
The game has not officially started yet. I will send out roles now, then post the second part of the prologue.

The game has not officially started yet. I will send out roles now, then post the second part of the prologue.
Roles (Town)
The Townie
- Your typical vanilla townie. Votes for someone to lynch during the day.
The Psychic
- A person that has been able to see visions of others throughout their life. During the Night Phase, the Psychic can pick one person to look at, looking into their lives and looking for any clues. They will learn that person's alignment by the end of the night.
- There is, however, a 10% chance that they will learn the person's actual role.
The Guardian
- Using a sword passed down from generation to generation, the Guardian can choose one person per night to protect. The players will be informed of who was protected that night.
- If the players insist on lynching that player, the Guardian will be lynched in their place.
The Protector
- A variant of the Guardian, this role can also pick one person per night to protect. Because they're ill-prepared, however, if the player they're protecting is attacked, the Protector will die in their place.
- If a mafioso and the Survivor attack the player, both the player and the Protector will be killed.

- If a mafioso and the Survivor attack the player, both the player and the Protector will be killed.
Roles (Neutral)
The Survivor
- Someone who's had a run-in with the Mafia and has become very paranoid. Once every other night, this player can choose one person and attempt to kill them. This attack has a 25% chance of succeeding.
- If lynched, one of the players that voted for the player will die along with them. Whoever it will be is determined at random.
The Unlyncher
- Desperate to keep someone from getting lynched, the Unlyncher will choose one person at the start of the game. In order to win, the Unlyncher must prevent their chosen player from getting lynched.
- If the person is lynched, the Unlyncher loses and dies with the player.
- If the person is night-killed, the Unlyncher becomes a vanilla role.
- If the Unlyncher is killed before the player, they will be notified, but will otherwise be able to continue the game.
The Idiot
- Whether or not this person's a drunken fool has yet to be determined, but what is known is that the Idiot doesn't want to be stabbed mercilessly by the Mafia. Therefore, the easiest way out is to be lynched by friends. Why the Idiot would prefer dying over survival, no one knows.
- In order for the Idiot to win, they must be lynched by the end of the game. If they survive or are night-killed, they lose.
The Traitor
- This person really doesn't like the townies for reasons undisclosed, and as a result, would love to join the Mafia to make them all suffer. If this role is attacked by Mafia, they will be automatically converted to their side.
- The Psychic will see the Traitor as a mafioso.
- This is a hidden role, so the player will be unaware that they are the Traitor until they are lynched/converted.

Roles (Mafia)
Agent of Adesa
- A worshiper of a girl from another realm and leader of the Mafia. They have the final say on who is killed.
- The Agent can also convert someone, but at the cost of their night kill. Conversion will be completed two Night phases later. Once it is complete, the players will be notified that an additional mafioso is on the loose. This can only be done once, so choose wisely.
The Pawn
- Controlled by the Agent, the Pawn is the one who carries out night kills. Other than that, this is your typical vanilla mafioso.
