Oops. :/ Sorry about that. And I'm sorry about the Capps vote, the reason I voted then was I honestly didn't have anything else to go on, but I've been bitten for frequent abstention before, so I just wanted to get my opening vote out of the way.

Day 4: Day Phase

Things were looking rather boring on the gameboard. Not much was happening. The Wizard had gone for a bathroom break and had left Adesa to her own devices. She sat in her chair, resting her chin on her hands, gazing down into the game.
“Hurry up...” she moaned “I want something to happen already...”
It’s this lack of activity that allows her to notice something down in the forest...
“Hmm~★” she cackles, checking behind her to make sure the Wizard wasn’t returning, before dissolving into a mist of purple clouds and entering the board.

Ranger approaches Danar again, who had just finished breaking the third seal.
“Progress?” he asks, turning to the scientist. Ranger nods.
“No rejections thus far. The only ones we’ve lost are those who died without giving an answer,” Ranger smirks, leaning on a tree.
“Well step it up. The more we lose, the worse our odds a-” Danar is cut off mid-sentence, gasping. Ranger whirls around to see a cloud of purple fog form into that of a young looking witch, who giggles convincingly.
“A-Adesa...!”
“Aww, that’s just too bad. I caught a glimpse and I☠ know☠ what☠ you’re☠ doing☠~” her eyes widen madly and her irises thin as she leans forward, hovering in the air and slowly floating towards the pair. Danar backs away, gritting his teeth.
“I can undo everything you did right now, if I like~” she giggles again, reaching forward with a claw-like hand, just inches away from Danar’s face.

Then a beam of light shines through the trees and lands on her face. She looks up, with a lazy smile, before looking back at her brother, head tilted.
“Aww, look at that. It’s morning❤~
I should go before Father returns, or he’ll get mad at me for screwing around.”
Her form dissipates in the same way it arrives and she’s nowhere to be seen. All that can be heard is her voice, giggling softly around them.
“Don’t worry, I won’t tell Father yet. That wouldn’t be any fun, kukuku☠!”

The villagers all assemble out in the town center, and are very relieved to find that nobody has died. Even Jim is happily croaking in a vat of custard someone donated to him.

The villagers happily consider the possibility that their problem just went away, but a scientist (who nobody recognized, despite looking familiar), pointed out that there seemed to be scratch marks, and evidence of a scuffle outside somebody’s house, so with a sigh, the voting begins again.
It’s quiet for a while as people ponder their suspicions, and then someone speaks up...

Phase Summary-
Nobody was killed last night!
The Mercenary failed to kill their target!
The Guardian is protecting Espeh

I totally know what will happen with the plot now.

At least, I think so.

I think I just realized that ☠ is a skull and crossbones. I always thought it was a weird lock.

Hmm, no deaths, so maybe there was a conversion? Greeeaaat.... Um, more hopefully, the guardian did their job and lived somehow... with no mention of it... Which doesn't usually happen, I think... ;_; Or maybe, just maybe, the wolves skipped tonight to make us all anxious. Is that allowed?

Ah, who am I kidding? Now we probably have a fourth wolf on the way. >_> We really need to step up our game, don't we?

Voting Mags

main instigator of the lynch on the innocent ark, probably the one who set her up too. if mags turns out to be wolf, I suspect lady too (her vote on ark suggested she was just going with what mags said), but only if mags turns up wolf.

Fingerwitch is my weakest suspicion, but if mags turns up villager she will be a stronger suspicion to me then Lady currently.

I shall avenge your death alice.

I don't know if I outright suspect Mags of being a wolf, but he may need to be taken out just because he lead the charge against 2 of the 3 innocent lynchings. Which means, he's responsible for as many kills as the wolves, right?

I also have suspicions of Espeh, but since she's being protected right now it won't do much good. But maybe she's not being protected...?
What if the guardian has been converted?
Last night could have been a ploy to make it seem like the guardian was unaffliated with Espeh! Hmm.

Capps also has some suspicous activity going on, but I don't think Capps and Mags are both wolves, so it's hard to choose which way to go there.

I also keep a weary eye on Geekgrrl and Skrael. But I have too many suspects now!

Back to voting for Nightsky!

Just to clarify, a conversion takes three night phases to go through, including the night it starts and the night it happens, and requires the wolves give up their nightkill for the night to perform.

So we'll probably have a new wolf in two more nights.
If we lynch the wolf inductee before then, will it be revealed that they were bitten?

Somehow when I saw meager posted, I just knew he'd vote me... ^^;

Anyways, I went back and looked at the votes, and noticed something weird, and have a certain suspicion now. Now, I'm still really new to heavy-analysis in Werewolf games. I've played other games before, and hosted one or two, but those didn't include this kind of analysis. In fact, once we ended a game in just two rounds through pure luck. However, I'm about 80% sure about my current suspect: Capps. Here's what I've noticed:

-In the first round, he voted for Edi-san last. However, although this could be a fatal move if Edi was the mercenary (as stated by meager), there was one problem: Edi-san had already alluded to being the sheriff and not the mercenary:

This is something most people would have skimmed over. However, the word "possibly" is a big red flag: Edi-san knew there was a sheriff, but nothing else. At that point, he already had five votes, so he probably saw no point in carefully avoiding a major hint like that. And then, the very next post, Capps voted for him. (See Page 3)
-In the second day, he suddenly hopped on the Antihero vote, and then a third vote came from Lady, creating an unexpected tie with Hedge. In the end, Antihero was killed. However, Hedge was then killed by the werewolves, which leads to the events of Day 3.
-In Day 3, Capps started out by saying how it seemed like a set-up:

When I first saw that, I was surprised and instantly wondered if he might be right about it being a set-up. He then went on to make this post:

I have to agree: setting up ArkAlice DOES seem pointless... Which could be the precise point. By mentioning this outright, he could potentially divert some attention away from himself so we wouldn't be too suspicious of him. Some of us might feel a pang of subconscious understanding and agreement, and think he's innocent if he's so blunt. He puts doubt in our mind, but for some people it would actually sway us into believing him.

I admit, I might be just seriously overthinking this. I tend to overthink a lot of things, and like I said before, I'm still new to the analysis thing. However, right now my biggest suspect is Capps, and thus my vote goes to him.

It's only a gut feeling, but I'm going to place a tenative vote on Magravan.

Nightsky, if i am reading this right, you think I am suspicious because I pointed out a possible flaw in my own reasoning.

(on the edi san thing, I just jump on the wagon so i would have a day one vote, but I can see where you are coming from by saying how it can look suspicious.)

I could see Mag being a wolf; probably my best lead at the moment.

As an aside, the apparent scuffle seems to be a pretty strong indication that the guardian was successful to me. I'll give them a congrats now, and say that I don't think Espeh should be regarded with much suspicion.

I'm changing my vote to Capps

I'm also now lumping Salty in with the heavily suspected ones. It's much more likely that the wolves converted someone last night (they can only kill OR convert in a single night, right?) than the odds that the guardian happened to protect the same person the wolves chose. But Salty comes out proclaiming victory for the guardian? Sounds like he's deflecting!

So if Mags is village, then a Capps-Salty alliance is highly probable.

...besides salty voting the same person I am, where is the connection between me and him.

If your theory about salty is correct, wouldn't it be more likely esph is his partner, after all...
