I must Invader.Socks as well. I don't think that our answer to the mafia killing off experienced players should be to start lynching experienced players, that just seems like a bad idea.
"Hmmm...interesting. Are self votes not allowed or did our host make an error in one of his tallies?"
MatthewJA:Rollo - 1 (Capps)
MatthewJA - MoW
"At that point, it should have been:" Socks - 1 (Socks) Rollo - 1 (Capps)
MatthewJA - MoW
"But Socks' vote was left out. Then, he later posted:"
Invader.Socks:Oh, oops, I forgot to change my vote.
"Assuming the mafia have some kind of means of conversation with the hosts, perhaps our host knew about the intended switch and didn't include the vote. Or maybe it was simply a missed vote."
"Either way, things seem fishy. Changing my vote to Invader.Socks."
Hm.
Fair points I guess. Of course, stuff like that can be deliberately averted to throw people off, but I don't know if I see you as the kind to do that.
So maybe I'm wrong, eh. I'unno.
While it is true I normally vote randomly the first day, and usually for a few days after, I tend to do so because I feel not voting for someone is a waste of time, as someone is usually lynched anyway. However this was not the case this time, as you could vote to protect someone instead of lynching them, so it seemed worth it. Also the reason I voted Sleepy was because he is usually fairly helpful for town, and it means the Gaurdian (assuming we have one) will have one less person to worry about.
Now onto voting, "I don't think Invader Socks is mafia, so I'm uncomfortable jumping on that wagon if I don't have to. You however Ms. TreeScab seem much more the type to do this kind of deed. (aka I don't like the Invader lynch so I shall just vote randomly. Not like it will change anything at this stage.) Now I wish to return to my muffin making. All this is not worth any prize."
While Frostys point is interesting, I'd rather see the materialization of that assessment than blindly throw my vote as a gesture of entrusting myself to said theory. If the Muffinman lynch is jeopardized, I may act, but for now I will watch.

Not really. It would be a supremely stupid thing to do to vote to protect a fellow mafia member day one- it provides an easy link to that person in the case that you die. Sleepy was not going to be targeted by the merc pretty much no matter what night one. I'm not saying that Muffiman isn't mafia, to clarify; but I see absolutely no logical scum link between muffin and Sleepy.
EDIT:Also, I don't really understand the point you are trying to make here:
Meed:"My suspicion is on Orangelink for being the last one to post out of all the contestants to post. Our host made note he had been waiting on one role, whether or not this role was good or bad keeps me from voting."
Could you clarify? Was it supposed to mean that because I posted later than most others last day phase, that that is somehow correlated to a late role pm last night phase?
That body clearly was fake. It was proffessionally made, but clearly fake. Poor author had to leave home so early, he must be disappointed he won't win any money. Heh! But I will! I just need to stay until the end... Seems like that "socker" coach will be taken out today anyawy. Looks like it's decided... I am not going to vote no one though.
Feniix smirks and looks at everyone gathered finally looking at connorduh.
"I vote connorduh because he makes horrible food! I ate some of it and I am not going to try anymore. Or perhaps... He's trying to poison us all with that food?!"

^ You get it? No you don't get it, you think you get it but thinking you get it is different from actually getting it.
Oh Dear God, you made many, many poor people.
I realize, of course, that it's no shame to be poor,
But it's no great honor either!
So, what would have been so terrible if I had a small fortune?
With that in mind, I should like to bamboozle, scrounge, appropriate, pinch, pluck and pilfer Macey's, the exceedingly rich woman, by voting to lynch her and then scamper with the ill-gotten gains.
Nightsky glances away from her laptop to look at Macey. "You're rich, so why are you playing again?" she asks curiously. "I mean, I'm just in it to get the best stuff available for my baby, but you're already filthy, stinking rich. Unless..." She smirks slightly as an idea dawns on her. "You've been lying. You've lost all your money in a bad investment or got swindled or something, and you're completely and utterly broke."
She sighs as she looks back to her laptop. "Gah, I really wish I had wi-fi so I could check that out." She enters another password on the CF-W1 port, and is again rejected. Apparently, 'Kyoftw' wasn't the password either. She adds it to the ever-growing list of attempted passwords.
Night Two
At the start of the day, the contestants are still recovering from the shocking sights of that morning. What elaborate special effects.
But by the evening, most people find that Invader.Socks is the most suspicious.
He kicks his ball around, wondering why people are voting for him.
"You're the most suspicious!" someone states.
"Why would you vote for yourself?" questions another.
And then, all at once, it is night time, and all is dark. Except, of course, for a brightly flashing circle behind Ol' Lynchy.
":D Glad to see you've come to a conclusion!" says Matthew, emerging from behind the stately old tree. "And while I would love to use the Guillotine, it'd be a shame to waste this opportunity..."
He waves a hand at the noose hanging from a branch.
":D"
The contestants look to each other as Socks emerges from the crowd. "Don't worry, guys, I'm sure it's just more special effects." he says. "Pity, I could have used the prize money."
He steps on a crate and places his head through the noose.
The crowd looks expectantly at Matthew.
"Hey, I'm not gonna do it. Lee, you were last to vote for him, go ahead and kick him off."
She steps up nervously, and pushes the crate aside. There's a snapping noise as Socks falls, breaking his neck. She screams.
"This'll make for great ratings :D"
Matthew points to the door of the town hall. "Through you go!" he says.
They enter the door, marked "VIII".
"What about Neko?" asks a contestant. But it is too late; the door has closed.
They find themselves outside a large mansion of some sort, on a fairly bare hillside. Suddenly, five birds fall out of the sky and explode. Some more birds float down from the sky, holding a cage (in turn holding Neko).
She does not look pleased.
The players drag the cage inside through the large, metal, double doors, and assemble in a large dining room. The doors slam shut.
"Good, you're all here!" says a voice over the speakers. "And I wouldn't try to leave either - there's nowhere to go, and there's robot dog guards. Anyway, you've got everything you need right here, and a room each as usual. There's nameplates and stuff, you'll know which room is yours."
Orangelink gets to his feet. "Let us out, Matthew!"
The speakers crackle. Then, laughter. But it is a different voice...
They don't have time to think about that, though. A hatch opens in the wall and the Wheel comes out. It spins by itself, landing on ArkAlice. It flips over, landing on the number 10. She gets up to see what the small print reads, but before she can it flips once more and lands on Rollo.
"Looks like there weren't enough rooms after all. Alice, you and Rollo will be sharing a room tonight. You might be able to tell if someone comes in uninvited..."
The contestants move to their rooms.
Invader.Socks was a townie! NekoSuave remains in jail and may not use any role actions she has tonight! ArkAlice and Rollo are sharing a room! The contestants have been moved to a mechanical mansion!
It is now night phase! Roles to me ASAP!
"Nightsky, daarling, I resent the implication about my fortune. I am most wise with my money, and it is all quite safe, thank you very much. However, merely having money doesn't make you famous..."
Not really. It would be a supremely stupid thing to do to vote to protect a fellow mafia member day one- it provides an easy link to that person in the case that you die. Sleepy was not going to be targeted by the merc pretty much no matter what night one. Clarification? Gladly.
Frosty's point was interesting, but in no way valid. Hence, my pointing out that I would avoid the lynch and simply watch and see if his reasoning materialized, which did not.

Orangelink:I was asking for clarification on the edit quote, not the first one.
"Also" made me think you wanted clarification on both.
The second point was that you were the last to post among us, and were the least active. This makes me assume you were busy, so when Matt mentioned he was still waiting on a role (a delayed role action), I assumed the least forum active amongst us would be responsible. Whether or not that role was mafia, neutral or town prevented me from voting.
