I am part of a collaboration of writers creating a comic book called "
Grace Falls".
The comic book is intended as an homage to both American daytime soap opera and super hero comics and will be an anthology style comic in the same vein as Amazing Fantasy or Strange Tales, except oriented to romance and drama.
What we lack is real help for the visual medium, and none of us are talented in that particular area. What we are aspiring to do is be able to create a A4 22-30 page comic issue split into three distinct stories of 7-10 A4 pages each and 1 cover for the over all issue. Ideally if we could we would like to do that each month for about 3 months at a go and each story arc would complete over that 3 month cycle. If we can we'd like someone to draw the whole comic, but since beggars can't be choosers (and we are beggars), we are only really trying to get someone to draw those 7-10 pages a month for 3 months.
Yes I already know the drill - we have no cash to offer anyone for doing the art and should really have no expectations that anyone would want to do this for free. This post is basically part of my great white hope.
