could we put hyperlinks on the avatars that lead to the person's profile?

would make clicking nice and simple rather than going for the text

Can't you just click the name? What's wrong with doing that? I wouldn't mind it, but I'm not particularly enthusiastic about this either.

There are no drawbacks to implementing this that I can see, besides maybe that Kyo would have to do work to make it happen.

Actually, that's a pretty big drawback.

I... Have to agree with Mr. Cohen on this one. The name is like a quarter inch above the avatar... Clicking that works just as well.
I'm not necessarily opposed to the idea, I just don't see much of a point.

As someone who usually goes on the site using a tablet with a small sized screen, it can be a bit difficult to hit the name, just clicking the icon would be easier.

But I can live with it either way.
