Hey everyone. The comic template coding changed a bit. Nothing too exciting, just trying to keep everything up to date.

This doesn't really mean anything for you, everything will work the same as before, the code will just look slightly differently.

I'm in the process of writing a proper documentation for the template system as well. The draft of that you can view here:

Does this mean I should download fresh copies of my comics' code? I already broke my site once this week pasting in what turned out to be old code. (;_; =p)

comic backups of the old layout format will be converted if you upload them. So your old backups will still work fine, but it doesn't hurt to download the new code either.

I've also converted most of the snippets in the snippet thread now.

Hm the new xml backup is identical to the one I made a few days ago, so I guess I'm all good anyway! :)

EDIT: Ohh 'cause this thread is a few days old. #duhhh :p

The XML always looks more or less the same, and the base64, in places (more specifically, everything that's been encoded up until the first layout element pops up), should also be identical.

easiests way to tell:
<cfxml>1.0</cfxml>

1.0 means old, 1.1 means new.
