Yes folks, its that time of year again. A week from now on June 5th E3 officially begins. But like last year the show really begins earlier, starting with Konami having their press conferences on the 1st of May. It looks Nintendo will steal the show this year with Wii U talk, unless Sony and Microsoft have some surprises up their sleeves.

I will be bringing you all the latest developments from these press conferences as I watch them on one of the numerous websites that shall be streaming them (or maybe not, depends how lazy I am)

I can only hope that there is something interesting up their selves. Most of what I have seen mentioned so far is just talk of cloud gaming things with the consuls, which does not interest me at all. X-Box screwed themselves over (in my eyes) for not having wireless initially and I am not willing to run wires over there to plug it in, my PlayStation has never been able to connect well to my internet. The Wii would work fine, and I have downloaded games through their online store when the console first came out, but it is the Wii....so...

Unless Sega gets back to making consoles, I have no interest. The Wii U's main problem is the same problem as the Wii's: it's a console built around a gimmick. Because of this, nobody but Nintendo will be able to properly utilize the gimmick and it will be drowned in shovelware, just like the Wii.
Oh, what do I care. The SNES is still great. E3 isn't too exciting to me.

Hopefully we'll see some footage of Pikmin 3. That's all I really want!

I'm hoping Aksys will at least give us an English trailer for Zero Escape. And I'm also interested in hearing more about the Wii U.

Is PS3's Last Guardian finally coming out yet? It's only the entire reason I bought a PS3 in the first place.

They have learned that popular franchises make a lot of money.
Halo games tend to be pretty good/ok, so I don't have a problem with it. Fans of it are probably worry though, since Bungie isn't working on it anymore.

e: Last Guardian still hasn't come out yet. The release date at the time is said to be sometime this year, but there have been some complications so its not solid.

There has been no news for the game recently as far as I know. It is the one console game recently I have been excited for so I just really want them to finally get it done and out.

Well, I always hope to hear something about Half-life 3 (or Episode 3, whichever). But...yeah...I'm just gonna try to not think about it too much.

I'm not too excited or interested in what Sony or Microsoft might have to show, console-wise. The details (and rumors) I've heard regarding their planned new consoles don't really appeal to me, especially about their plans about new games versus used. Plus, I've always been more of a PC guy. Still, maybe they'll surprise us.

Sorry, I just live about a block away from Gamestop, and whenever a Halo game comes out, I can't even go outside due to crowding.
Also, Halo sucks, and it's the same thing over and over again, just even worse every time over.

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but that game... I've been waiting for it for so long. I can't wait to hear more news on it~

There was a rumor going around a while back that Retro was developing some kind of Star Fox/Metroid crossover for the Wii U. It's probably a statement made of lies and fallacy, but holy shit am I excited if it turns out by some miracle to be legitimate.

Maybe Nintendo will finally announce Pokemon for the 3ds, they are suspiciously quiet about that one...

I doubt they'd announce a Pokémon game at E3. The "official" Pokémon news sources in Japan include the official Pokémon show and CoroCoro magazine.

I have to admit though, it'd be nice to see a Pokémon game for 3DS that isn't the Pokédex or Rumble Blast.

You've got a good point there. Rumor says (mind you, it's a rumor) that the Wii U might cost at least US$350-$450. Yikes.

Though I'd place my bet on it costing between $250-$300.

Yeah I don't really care much for the Wii U, I feel it's a gimmick, and I fear it's gonna end up trying to be too many things but not being excellent in anything (a mediocre tablet that has some mediocre, gimmicky games).

Capps' got me interested in Planetside 2, so I'm looking forward to hearing about that. Also I am a massive MGS fan so any Metal Gear stuff (well non-portable system MG stuff) would be really sweet.

I don't really care much for gaming anymore and looks like this year isn't giving me much more reasons to.

I'm still not real sure what the Wii U gimmick everybody's talking about is

The controller is pretty doing what the Dreamcast controller and the Pocket Station did, just taken to its logical conclusion (i.e., a touch screen and whatnot)

Considering that these are some of the same "gimmicks" that the DS had, I don't really know what the big deal is. It's an actual controller and not WAGGLE~, so I'm not going to complain.
