I got a report saying that my banner isn't showing up in any page past the homepage of my comic. However, on my own computer, tested across several internet browsers, I can see that banner just fine in any given page. I also got a few friends with various operating systems to test it, and they can see it fine.
It appears as a broken image when using Windows 7 and Chrome, according to the user.
Is there something I can do about this?
And the weird thing is that the code for that part should be the same on all the pages. Which is not to say that it isn't a problem, I just really wonder if there is something weird going on with her computer.

Strange that this should come up, because I was just wondering about this last night. I've never seen a message like that one, but I've noticed that neither my avatar nor my banner shows up on my homepage nor on the comments when I preview it, only my comic profile. However, since I'm just learning how this site works, it could be that I haven't experimented with it enough yet. If anyone has experienced this problem before I would appreciate advice :)
As for your banner,Kupocake, I have Windows 7 and I've always seen it on my computer.
You may not realize it, but people who read Mirrored Conversations are vampires. The comic never shows their reflection.
The banner you can upload to ComicFury isn't used by all default layouts. The Comic Avatar is not the same as the user avatar, which is what is shown next to your webcomic comments. You can change that in your account settings, which is in the green bar at the top of every comicfury page.
I'm so confused right now. I'm using Chrome, where it doesn't show up. However, in IE and Firefox it works just fine. Clearing the cache didn't do anything. I guess if I want to look at the banner, I'll read the comic in Firefox.
that doesn't solve the underlying problem, though. I mean, what if others experience this too.
Kupo, the first thing I would do if I was you would be renaming it to something that doesn't say "banner". I know socks said that he doesn't have an ad blocker, but that's really the only thing I can think of that would cause this. Maybe he just installed it and forgot or something.
No, it's still not working. I have no idea what the cause could be. I just ran a scan and I don't have any viruses or anything. Every time I check the page, the banner's there for a few moments, then it's gone.
That kind of sounds like what happens when I mess with the CSS Sandbox too much. And it almost always happens on Chrome too. Firefox and Safari don't have a problem when I mess with the CSS Sandbox, but with Chrome and I screw up, it almost always stops showing graphics.
