My vote is for Doctor Strange. He's a really interesting character who needs more attention. I think he could contribute alot to the team with his magic abilities. ^^

Miss Marvel perhaps? Spider-Man would be cool, but highly doubtful since they're rebooting his individual francise.

I heard that they're making a movie off of Doctor Strange in 2014 or so. :D

Disney doesn't currently own the rights for a doctor strange movie, but they are trying to get them off of 20 Century Fox (I think that is who owns it)
So unless if that happens Doctor Strange is a no go for the avengers.

I want Antman. Luckily for me, Edgar Wright wants to make an Antman movie. The rights for an Antman movie are currently in the hands of those doing the Marvel universe movie, so he is probably going to show up in Avengers 2.

I'd love to see a version of Black Panther worked in there somehow.

I want to see Sony and Disney get along and confirm spider-man's in it. :D

Vision, Scarlet Witch or Loki as a good guy :D

Loki switching to the good guys (at least for the next storyline only, we stay for the smarmy after all ;) ) makes a lot of sense. he's done it before when faced with the prospect of villains destroying Asgard instead of helping him rule it.

Definitely Ant Man. He was in the animated bit, I don't see why can't be in the new movie.

I hope they're able too. I think having a mix of science and magic would be awesome. Plus, it'd be funny to see him meet Captain America, since they're both named Steve. XD

Spider-Man. That would be the only one I can think of that I would truly look forward to seeing and I think his tone would compliment the Avengers well since he is more light hearted than the rest of them. But sadly this will probably never happen.

Avengers 2? Shouldn't we wait to see if the first one has made any money yet?

An Ant Man movie has been in developement for a few years, and is currently slated for a 2014 release. According to IMDb.com, the script is done and there's already a director attached. Seems likely to me that an "Ant Man" movie would lead directly into the next Avengers film (what other purpose does that character serve?), hopefully setting-up a big battle with Ultron, and maybe introducing The Vision.

From Wikipedia (the internet's least reliable source): "In June 2010, Marvel Studios hired Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to write Dr. Strange. While promoting for Transformers: Dark of the Moon, actor Patrick Dempsey indicated he was lobbying to play the title character."
Since it's a Marvel Studios production, I doubt there would be any problems squeezing Dr Strange into an Avengers film. Personally, I'd rather see Strange teamed-up with The Hulk for a Defenders film. Rumor has it that a movie based on Nighthawk is in the works, so maybe The Defenders isn't that far off.

Regarding Black Panther, from a 2011 article at The Hollywood Reporter: "Black Panther is back in development at Marvel Studios. The company has hired Mark Bailey, who hails from the documentary film world, to pen a take on the character, the king of a resource-rich fictional African country who becomes a super hero. Marvel's Kevin Feige is producing. Marvel reacquired the rights to Panther in 2005 when it absorbed a host of character licenses from Lionsgate, which bought Artisan in 2003."
My guess is that, since this news is over a year old, Marvel wasn't happy with what Bailey wrote, or else we'd be hearing news about them getting a director and lead actor attached, as well as getting some tentative release date.

So, anyway, to actually answer the question of which hero I'd like to see in the next Avengers film, it's The Vision.

I'd love to see Ms. Marvel get a little more love, though her history is so ;DKF;JD;JFA;errwhat that I'm not sure how they'd slap together a coherent origin for her.

$1.4 billion worldwide and 3rd-highest grossing movie of all time is kind of hard not to notice.

That news makes me even more excited. I would LOVE to see a live version of Dr. Strange. The weird special effects they could do for his powers would be awesome. :D

To answer your question, yes, it has made money , and yes, they are making a sequel. There was an ending of Avengers that kind of told you they were making a sequel >.>
