Does anyone know how to get your comic published and sold on itunes in the official store?

I thought it would be a good idea to publish my first issue digitally and sell it for $0.99, and see if there's any interest, does anyone have experience selling things digitally on itunes or amazon?

With the kindle fire coming out, digital comics could become pretty big.

I haven't tried publishing anything on iTunes, but from what I understand, you have to sign up for some publisher thingamajig with them, and probably pay them an arm and a leg.

If you publish on Lulu, it looks like they pretty much do the work for you getting your ebook into the iTunes, Nook, etc stores. You have to buy an ISBN, though. But I haven't ever used Lulu, so I can't really say anything for or against them.

I don't know about iTunes, but you might look into Kindle Direct Publishing. It seems to be mostly tailored to indie writers, but I'm pretty sure you can publish comics too.

has anyone done this lulu thing? I also want to put it on a kindle fire store, think the kindle fire will be really good for comics, all the comic publishers I hear are talking about it
