Today, I learned that clicking on "Your updates" helps me see forum responses. I also learned how to calculate R-values for insulation. I feel like the king of the universe, and yet I can't help but think of how cheesy my accomplishments actually are. Am I the only person who feels like boasting about ridiculously trivial stuff? Does anyone else have mundane things that feel like crowning achievements?

I find myself proud of everything I'm not ashamed of. :P

Of course, sometimes there's overlap. Y'know, especially with art. :P

I went to the dentist yesterday and was told I had really clean teeth already. Was proud.

ranger_brian_new: Oh god. I know that feeling all too well.

Linden: Any day that your dentist doesn't want to drill your teeth really does feel like a victory.

I tried out something new with my watercolors (washes and starting with purple shades), don't know if it will work, but considering my watercolors so far has just been me doing what I already know how to do, just trying something new is huge and I am proud of myself for that.

My visual memory. If you make me travel to a place once, I can find my way back. And I'll remember how to get there too. I'm never really lost as a result.

Although, navigating L.A. is tricky.

spoonyliger: Nice!

Kupocake: You're so lucky! When I used to drive, I was totally dependent on the GPS.

mushroomisland: WOW! That's pretty cool. If I could finish a sodoku at a beginner level, I think I would be giddy. Sodoku always explodes my head. I just don't get it.

Everything I do is boring and ridiculous and I have very little to be proud of these days.

I take pride in a job well done but there's nothing I'm really proud of. I do what I gotta do and move on.

sgtbravo: Pride in a job is better than pride in mediocrity, so I suppose that should count for something.

i think the only time i get really proud is when i pull off a successful prank. i only prank those who i deem deserving and the prank always reflects what they deserve

just. as. planned.

Whenever I finish a chapter/episode of any of my comics.
After I work out.
Realizing how good life is.

And how hugely awesome my arms are.

hmmm...

girl had one of those noise making guns at a costume party and refused to stop 'shooting' people, so i stole it and hid it causing a surprisingly large manhunt to find it. during which i recovered it and hid it right by where she was sitting before so after all the trouble she had gone through to find it she too could be annoyed at it.

babysitting some kids i asked important questions such as food, bedtime, and such. the parents evaded all my questions and then as they were running out of the house told the kids that there was s'mores. there was no s'mores. heck i had to make s'mores out of sliced bread, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips since the kids had been told 'there's s'mores'. and while i was at it i fed them, after making sure they had dinner and the s'mores were still baking (that's right, an oven, that's all that was working) i decided that it was time to invoke potential sugar highs. ice cream sodas for everybody. then the s'mores. they were controllable but completely wired so i had them don pjs and we stayed up until the parents came back reading books and playing video games. the best part was i did such a good job on the s'mores that those kids asked for me for an ENTIRE YEAR

stuff like this. also a lot of stuff that i may or may not have done that i don't want to take credit for... for reasons...

When I finally got a slice of "the best apple pie in the world". No kidding, it was really good.
