"Mafia XXVIII - Lockdown", 26th Oct 2012, 8:35 PM #1
"Alright, get in the bus already!" Magravan yelled, trying to get the last of the prisoners inside. The last trial had finally finished, and it was time to send them to their final destination. Unfortunately for him, instead of taking the day off like he was supposed to, he was enlisted to send them to their home for the next few years, and some of the prisoners had decided to give him a hard time, particularly rokulily.
"What's wrong, driver?" she teased as she was finally pushed inside the bus. "Can't handle a girl?"
"No, I can't handle a bus-load of criminals," he groaned. "Why can't you be more like the thief? At least he didn't give me a hard time!" At the mention of his nickname, Muffinman stood and looked at the driver for a moment before sitting back down.
"At least some of us were civil," Kojiru muttered as rokulily sat behind him. "Not our fault that he can't handle a little crazy. You have to expect crazy people when you take this job. If you can't, then why bother taking it?"
"Quiet, con artist." Magravan grabbed a list from his pocket and looked it over. "Let's see...Paul, Orangelink, Cynical, Kojiru, Muffinman, rokulily, KoriCongo and Sivrus." He looked behind him and counted every head (or at least something resembling a head, in Muffinman and KoriCongo's cases) that was in a seat. "Okay, that's eight people. Good, now we can get out of here." Starting up the bus, he turned on the radio, and decided to get a bit of payback by playing a somewhat ironic song.
Orangelink scoffed. "Not a good taste in music, I see." He could hear rokulily laugh behind him, a feat that surprised him, what with the music's volume making it hard to hear himself think.
As the bus left the garage and headed for the mountains nearby, Sivrus looked at KoriCongo, giving him a quizzical look.
"So, what ya in here for?" he asked.
KoriCongo turned to face him. "Eh, got caught selling some stuff in one of the alleys. You know, the narrow paths that Comicville is just full of. What about you?"
"Kind of got pissed at an employee for telling me to clean a spot he made. I grabbed a mop and beat him with it."
"Really? And you probably got off better than me."
Meanwhile, Kojiru was staring out the window and was lost in thought until he heard a voice coming from in front of him.
"Hey!" a man with a blindfold covering his eyes yelled. "Any idea where we're going?"
Kojiru jumped and looked at the man. "First question. Why are you wearing a blindfold?"
The man giggled. "I can't see, and I don't want people looking at my eyes, so I'm wearing this instead!" He extended a hand. "By the way, I'm Cynical. My friend, Paul," he pointed to a seat next to him, "he's like me, only in a different field. I'm a scientist, and he's a doctor."
Kojiru shook his hand, though he was somewhat annoyed at the crazy guy who yelled at him a few seconds ago. "Good to know," he said before looking away. By now, they were traveling on the Fury Mountains, the only thing separating the town from the prison they were headed for. He was sure that it wouldn't be long before they arrived at the prison. Though he wondered why there was one far from the city.
Roughly ten minutes later, the bus headed down out of the mountains and into the forest, traveling on a barren path. At the end of that path was a large stone building, roughly three stories high, guarded by a black gate. The bus waited at the entrance until a guard knocked on the window by Magravan, prompting him to open it.
"What're you here for?" he asked.
"I'm delivering some prisoners here," Magravan responded and handed the list over to the guard. Looking it over, he handed it back to him and went back to his post, opening the gate. Magravan smirked as he drove past, relieved that this trip was almost over. He drove up to the building's entrance and parked.
"Okay, everyone out. Welcome to Fury County Prison."
(Game hasn't started yet. I'll be sending out flavor and game roles now, as well as putting the rules, roles and player list on this post. And if you weren't introduced in this part of the prologue, don't worry; you will be in the second part.)

Rules
-Each Day and Night phase will last roughly 24 hours unless I am unable to update at the time (Internet not working, computer being difficult, etc.)
-Each Day, the players will vote for someone to lynch. The player with the highest votes is killed off at the end of the Day.
-Each Night, certain roles will send their actions to me. The players will be notified if anyone is killed or protected.
-After what happened a few games ago, I implore you, don't send PMs to anyone.
-Bold your votes. Any votes that aren't in bold will not be counted. Tallying votes would be appreciated.
-Do not role reveal.
-Don't veg. Any veggers will get one warning, and if they don't participate then, they will be put on a list. You do not want to be on that list.
-Like in Mafia:The Movie, everyone will receive a flavor role. Role-playing isn't mandatory. Note that if you only get a flavor role, then you're most likely a Townie.
-At a minimum, there will be two chats:a Mafia Chat for the mafiosi, and a Necro Chat for the dead players.
-Finally, an Endgame Warning will be issued if the Mafia are one lynch away from winning.

The Townies
The Townie
- Your typical vanilla player. Votes for someone to lynch during the day.
The Psychic
- This person can read the minds of others. Once per night, they can select a player and learn their alignment.
- There is a 10% chance that they will also learn the player's role.
The Guardian
- Hellbent on saving lives, this player can select one person during the night. If they're attacked, they will be spared.
- Players will be notified of who the Guardian protected last night. If they insist on killing that player, the Guardian will take his/her place.
The Jailer
- This player wanted to be a cop long ago, and they're finally getting a chance to lock people up. Once per night, the Jailer can pick a player to lock up.
- The locked-up player will be unable to vote the next day and cannot perform their night action the following night.

The Wild Cards
The Redeemed Mafioso
- This player used to be a part of the Mafia, but quit when things got too out of control. Once every other night, they can attempt to kill a player; this attack has a 25% chance of succeeding.
- If the target survives, they will be notified of the attempt.
- If the Redeemed Mafioso is lynched, they will take one of the players responsible down with them.
- In order to win, the Redeemed Mafioso must survive until the end of the game.
The Traitor
- This player's tired of being a little goody-two-shoes and wants to exact some bloody payback. If they are attacked by the Mafia, they will be automatically converted.
- This is a hidden role, so the Traitor will be unaware of their true colors until they are lynched or converted.
- The Traitor's win condition will vary depending on their alignment at the end of the game. They will win with the Town if they were never converted, while they win with the Mafia if they were successfully converted.
The Lyncher
- Consider this to be the Unlyncher's Evil Counterpart. This player must select another before the game starts. From there, the Lyncher must get their 'Lynchee' killed by, you guessed it, lynching.
- In order to win, the Lyncher must get their Lynchee killed during the Day Phase and be on their wagon. If the Lynchee is night-killed or survives, or if the Lyncher is killed before the Lynchee, the Lyncher will lose.
The Plagued Fool
- This player is dying from a disease they picked up prior to the game. They want to die in a quick and painless way. The best way to do that is to get lynched.
- In order to win, the Plagued Fool must get lynched by the other players. If they survive or are night-killed, they lose.
- However, those who choose to lynch them may suffer a terrible price...

The Mafia
The Godfather
- The King of the Mafia (in this area, anyway). Has the final say on night kills.
- Is able to convert one of the players during the Night Phase, but this will sacrifice the night kill. The conversion will take two Night Phases to finish. This can only be done once per game.
The Vanilla Mafioso
- As the name implies, this player is only there to carry out night kills.
