Let's do a Secret Santa! It's simple and fun! A great way to get the CF community together.

HOW IT WORKS...fairly simple
I compile the names (if there are enough) of all participants and throw them into a random generator.
This is how I'll get my "pairings". I'll then message each participant as to whom they will be drawing for.

YOUR JOB
Drawing. It can be that person's own original characters, their favorite characters (if you know them that well), or anything you see fit. So as long as it's a drawing and....appropriate.

Sidenote: It does NOT have to be just a drawing. If you have skills in other areas and are able to present whatever it is to your recipient---go for it. Be it baking, knitting, etc.

DEADLINE
Get your gift done at least a week prior to Christmas Day, December 25th.
Once it's done, you can send it to your "Giftee" through whatever means necessary (i.e. - email, snail mail, etc).

You are also required to send a copy to me via e-mail. I'd like to have all the gifts displayed for the CF Community to see.

Sidenote: IF your gift isn't a drawing, say a batch of cookies, take a photo of it and send it to me.

CONTINGENCY SANTAS
No one will go without! If your Santa flakes, don't fret! We have Replacement Santas ready and willing to create for you! Please let me know ahead of time if you feel you CAN NOT participate for whatever reason, meaning if something comes up.

I'd say nearly a month is a good amount of time UNLESS one's schedule is that chaotic at which point, they shouldn't join.

If enough people join, there will be enough names to throw into a random generator at which point I'd be able to pair people off. I'll then message each person of who they're going to be the Secret Santa of.

Maybe not, then.

I take vacation just before Christmas (typically a day or two before, and lasting 'til a day or two before new years), during which I only have a dial-up connection which if it were any slower wouldn't work at all. (It literally is as slow as can be. A half-hour video on youtube on the lowest quality possible? Will maybe get ten minutes in eight hours.
Yes, I speak from experience. It's that slow.)

So during that time, I can't give or receive images. It'd have to be before I left. (If I knew who I was making an image for by the 20th, I could probably get it done in time. Any later than that is questionable.)

So if that's not viable, I'll have to drop out.

If I can, though, I'd love to.

We might have it situated WAY before then. It's still November (27th) so just hold out a little while and I'll start it once we have a good amount of people. =)

Well, then. This I can do. A week before Christmas is the 18th. I'm guaranteed not to be on vacation at that time, and since that's the deadline, it means I'll have drawn it before then.
