That's right folks, we are bringing out a new version! Again!

Certainly over the years, there have been many versions of ComicFury. CF1, the root of it all. CF2000 or CF2k, the new and improved version, where we started sorta getting our shit together. CF2k1, or CF2100, where we had our shit together at last, then CF 6.5, where things got neat.

And now, with CF3799Z, things will get even neater. This latest iteration of ComicFury will be better, better and better than the original! The code is being rewritten completely from scratch!

Now normally these version updates/rewrites always mean that there's no new features for a fair while. Well not this time! I have designed the new version in such a way that pages running it can run in concurrence with the old version, cf 6.5! In fact, the very page you are viewing is already running CF3799Z! Exciting!

If you have any problems or notice any regressions, please do report it to us so that we may fix it.

Ok, but why the new version? What happened to good old traditional values? Fuck traditional values, this new version is being built in such a way that it will be much more maintainable and updateable! It will be better than ever and we will probably rehaul some pages in need of rehauling while recoding them!

Exciting times are ahead!

Exciting new features we should look for? Will I be able to see my comic in 3d now?

I've got a couple of cool things in mind, but I don't want to spoil the surprise. Mostly it is about making things easier to use though, we don't have the best interface in some places.

And the only way I can see the other posts is to reply to this thread.

I have a new problem, when I try to quote a post it just takes me to the reply link, no quotes in sight.

Looks like this is a common problem, but confirming it's not just one person.

I can't quote posts.
Rather, I'm hitting quote, and it aint quoting. :P

found a new problem. when i click the button "send a PM to this user" the link takes me to the PM page, but is without the name of the one i want to PM.

The funny thing is, it's the normal message at the bottom everywhere else. When replying, when on the forums, but when you're actually inside a forum topic, it changes to that.
