it's kinda big whups

First in a series of handpainted, abstract cd covers I'm going to do this week:

This is a sort of WWII propaganda poster I designed to act as a placeholder for my next comic as it has a very sort of WWII-ish aesthetic, featuring one of the main characters, Aija Campbell.

I was assigned a project in graphic design that called for some style copying
We're supposed to create and storyboard a new intro to whatever movie/tv show/ game we wanted
This was actually supposed to be due a few months ago but my when I lost all of my files I lost my old version of this project and was given extra time

I chose to do The World Ends With You this time around and I don't have much done yet but I'm getting there


I'm acctually surprised on how it's turning out so far. I don't use lines often so I thought it would be difficult for me to try to copy this style but it wasn't hard at all <3


Also did a doodle of Neku in my own style because I'm just cool like that

So I finally decided to do some guest art for TOGM. Originally, I wanted to draw Beth, Sylene, and Katie, but that would take forever...so I decided to do just Beth. I also wanted to experiment a little with gradients and an old coloring style I used back then. Overall, I'm kinda satisfied with it.

Below this is kawaii.

Here, a picture of a rat in half a banana costume. Why? No reason really, there was just a spot on my wall that looked vaguely like that and inspired me.

Trying to get better at action poses.. -_- f*cked up splendidly on the jumping girl's hand. The other one's pose is off as well.

Kinda like the colors here. Some of the linework is a wee bit off. :|

That is just cute as a bug.

It's kinda big... (Okay it is.) A comic I've been working on for five (or is it six years) But haven't released, because of some issues. One of them is style, I have no freaking clue what these characters should be wearing. So I drew a new concept of a character, and used it kinda like a dress up doll. The first outfit is kinda a fantasy/punk outfit the second is some sort of combat fatigue, and the third is the chest piece of an MKA (Modern Knight Armor) the series takes place in a sorta cyber-fantasy world, but I have no idea what their every-day clothes should look like. Any ideas would be great. I kinda like the Fantasy punk outfit, and the MKA chest.. the other one just seems kinda bland.

Recoloring a movie poster I drew last year for a print publications. Trying the whole digital painting thing... don't really know what I'm doing, but still think it's a cool pic. (big image)
