I felt like wearing my chicken suit the other day.

I want to ask why you have a chicken suit, I assume it is for something. But at the same time, I like the idea that you just have random outfits like that just in your closet.

So, I'd been growing my hair out since I cut it incredibly short last June, and it had gotten pretty shaggy. The plan was to grow it out for the wedding, but since I'm no longer getting married...

... HAIRCUT TIME! WOOHOO!!!!

I really do prefer it short... it's a relief to be able to cut it without feeling guilty.

Short hair is good.

I had the colour I'm trying to point at (I'm not even pointing at the right colour >.>). But it's gone all yellow/orange from the sun.

I've only ever done mine twice ever and that was all within the recent months.

It is fab, but it fads so quickly :C

What is going on there?

If you find a 'colour-stay' shampoo/conditioner, it -really- makes a difference, imo.
Some people mix dye with conditioner, and leave that in for an hour, that refreshes it.
I have to re-do mine soon too. >u<

Have have some shapoo/conditoner which is called "Colour-last" but the sun just kills the colour sooo quickly.

I'm too worried I'll screw things up if I mix it with conditioner. But I could give it a go. The dye is so expensive to get over here :/

You could empty a bit of conditioner and a bit of dye into a bowl or something and try it? I'm pretty certain mixing them doesn't harm the effects of either. :)

What brand do you use? So far the longest lasting one I've tried is Directions. It also depends on the colour. Bright greens fade into yellow super fast, and darker turquoise greens stick around for aaaages. It must be something to do with what goes into them.. I remember when I had rainbow hair, some colours would fade a LOT quicker than others.

LOL what sun? I live in England. Aside from the fact that I'm a hermit with a lot of work to do, it's very rarely sunny here. P:
