Looks pretty good MrTorchy. What materials did you use?
I'd be the last person to give advice on what to sell on Etsy, seeing as how I make things myself but never got round to it.
I have however seen jewelry of all types go pretty well on there. I'd say unique one offs may attract buyers.
Also maybe sets. Like make a set of masks that could go as a collection with a unified theme. That could be cool.
I was referring to the actual weight of the piece. I find personally that a nice heft exhumes quality as opposed to the cheap plastics and compounds we're so used to these days. I realise not everyone shares that sentiment.
Don't undercut yourself either when it comes to selling. Do some research and find a competitive price.
Also I remember seeing some tutorials on how to build your own kiln. The only drawback I remember is controlling and maintaining a steady temperature. There's also some newer clays out there that bake off in the oven. I've seen them used for fine sculpting.
And you want to talk about cost of materials. Pop over here and take a look. They don't call it the rip off republic for nothing!
