I'm experimenting with a different method of colouring. One layer for flat colours, one (set to "multiply" for lighting.

(the other character's Hestia. She's feeding her comfort foods to cheer her up. Aph's a bitch.)

And hey guys, guess who's decided to challenge himself to draw odd angles?

(very unfinished, a bunch to add (including clothes (look, triple brackets)) and tweak and stuff)

A sketchy layout page for a mini comic sort of thing for practice. :]

I was just passing time drawing when a bed-bug crawled onto the paper, so I
squished it. You see it above woman's portrait all splattered up real good.

Next step: highlights, shades, and removing most black lines.

I'll add my share too :D It's a wip from the second page of my comic (which is already done and uploaded, lol).

I'm not sure how I'm going to use this when it's finished.

Well, for post number two in the forums I figure, "why not throw myself into the thick of it again, and be the strange guy nobody knows at the party!" Yes, I'm really like that, lurk for a month, shoot my mouth off in multiple places, then lurk again.


Anyway, here's a nice tidy display of how my stuff goes from digital scribbles to less scribbly stuff.




I have lots of issues... some of them involve the artwork I do. You can see that Sylvia (the old lady on the right) gets shrunk a bit, and Beth (by elimination, the other girl in the panel) gets some facial work done, as well as a much needed left hip. Oh, and somewhere between the 3rd and final revision of the panel, I decided to fix her eyes. She looks like she hasn't been sleeping well in version 3.

I work at twice this size then scale down for the final presentation.

It irks me to see Michael Richard put his shoes up on the table like that. Absolutely no respect for wood.
