budhabingy:My freshman orientation was people talking about tolerance and not to hate gays...so that was pretty much a waste of time 'cause I didn't hate gays. Then on to my drawing class with dopes who couldn't draw for shit with assignments for weeks that had us repeatedly drawing boxes. I am not exaggerating. College / Uni was crap.
That's a problem I'm thankful I didn't have. I'm in a fine-arts program, so the people in my classes can generally draw from the start, at least decently.
Which is nice. If the skill level in the class is a little more flat-spread in that everyone has a basic idea of how to draw, it lets the instructor hit the ground running and push the class really hard. That's how you get the most out of a class.
