As the voting drew to a close several sat back and relaxed while others stood nervously wondering if the would be in the minority or not. The mysterious man came and counted each vote, inspecting it with a smile that said "What an interesting answer"

He took all the votes and stacked them in two individual piles. One was considerable shorter than the other. Dread appeared on some faces while glee appeared on others.

"The results are in!" The man bellowed. "In the yes pile we have MattWL, Milinor,Spinnerlink, and loungegecko! In the no pile we have Lee V., Silvertrap, and Paul!!! MatthewJa, Metsfan and Flexiorn have not cast any vote and are eliminated automatically! The Minority is no! We have our three contestants that will participate in this next question!"

Paul, Lee and Silvertrap all celebrated while the rest of the gathered players were forced to sit out the rest of the round. The 1,000,000,000 was slowly slipping through their fingers.

"I will now pose my next question and like before you will have 24 hours to answer! The next question is... When Running a country the best thing to do is to please all of the people all of the time!

This is the first step to your 1,000,000,000 Dollars, make your choice wisely!!

The saddened contestants sat around as the watched the three finalists pace around the floor, chat with each other and think about their answer. The three that were left knew that predicting what the other two would vote would hand them certain victory.

One by one they shuffled to the host and whispered their answers. each time the host would chuckle and send them right back down stars. Finally Paul strode up the stairs at the last possible second and whispered his answer. Once Paul's answer was in place the host rang a buzzer that singled the end of the round.

"Ho ho ho, and what a round this was." The host gleefully chirped. "This time there was a clear minority! and the victor of this round will receive 5 points that will bring the victor that much closer to the 1,000,000,000 Dollars!"

That statement sent shivers up the finalists spines. It was clear that they wanted that money and they were already thinking about what to do in the next round.

"I shall take this time to restate that these points may be distributed in any way the winner of them desires. You must first confirm with me who you want to give the points to and how many. What you ask in return for giving points to a player will be up to the holder of the points. Also in the case of a tie the money will be split in whatever manner is appropriate proportionate to the number of winners."

The host took a deep breath and slimmed his hand on the top of the staircase railing.

"Now lets me announce the votes and the winner of this round! First, up is Lee V who voted yes!"

The air froze solid with tension in the room.

"Next up is Ms. Silvertrap with a strong and resounding no!"

Lee V fainted, unable to handle the stress that was mounting in the large foyer. Each contestant was on the edge of their seat. The finalists couldn't take the suspense any longer. The next voter, Paul, Would be the one to decide the minority.

The host surveyed the room and was pleased with what he saw. He then announced the final vote.

"Now our winner will be decided by the valiant and proud Paul. His answer was!...

NO!!!" The winner is Lee V!!!"

Everyone let go of a breath that they didn't know they were holding. The first round was over and the winner had been decided. A group of butlers quickly appeared and began ushering everyone to their rooms. The host bellowed as they left "The next round will start in 6 hours! Use this time however you please and use it wisely, for the one who controls and makes the best use of their time will control this game!"

With that the contestants began to think about ways to win. tomorrow was the chance for anyone to come up and gain the chance to win 1,000,000,000 Dollars.

As morning arrived the contestants rose from their peaceful slumbers. They all attended to their morning routines, brushing teeth, combing hair, and generally getting ready for the day. Two rounds were likely to pass before the day was out and everyone had developed their own strategies that would put them on top.

While being treated to a lavish breakfast the players were approached by the host. He seemed happy that everyone enjoyed themselves.

"Just like the food that your eating I hope that you find this round absolutely scrumptious. Since I Know that your aching for it I will present you all a question right now!"

Everyone stopped eating to listen.

"The most delicious breakfast in the world is a simply cup of OJ and Cereal, wouldn't you agree."

The players were a bit confused by such a simple question considering the amazing, exotic breakfast that they were happily devouring.

The game was finally back on!

Aw, only the winner gets points? I would have thought that surviving rounds would yield some score.

Gah! Sorry. Its been hard for me to keep up with anything since I went to Sydney. i forgot about this. Posting results in a few.

Afer a very long and less than interesting breakfast everyone decided that it would be best to refrain from voting. They wanted to see if they could test out the rules and what would happen. However some people broke away from the rest of the group. They wanted that 1,000,000,000 dollars and some petty test wasn't going to stop them. 4 people voted. Lee, MattWL, Paul and Silvertrap.

With the four that voted a suprising minority arrived. It was yes that was taken as the minority and so the victory went to

MattWL!

The host wasn't all to please with the contestants lack of voting so he dicided to make a new rule.

If you do not vote this round you will not be given any Consolation points! the Consolation points will match your points with the current leader should you participate. If you progress to the second stage you may be given 1 point once the round is over and the winner decided.

"When inviting a girl to dinner, it is chivilrous that you pull her chair out for her If I do say so myself.
