Comic Fury Webcomic Hosting - It's Not That Easy Being Green [DrunkDuck Convalescence Thread]

I'm beginning to believe Drunk Duck is an actual alcoholic.

Now it's 502 erroring. I was going to try to private message some of my friends to come here since they won't let us post about Comic Fury in the forums. But then I saw that we can't even send a private message... but the 502 errors fixed everything anyway I guess.

I'll go back to try to convince some of my friends to come here but that's it. Guess I'll comment on their comics if/when I have access to the site again and link them here. Hopefully Ozone won't trip out over that too.

As of yesterday, this site has a whole lot more in common with DrunkDuck than this weird new Duck site anyway - they should feel right at home here.

I see DD rant thread appears to be up the Swanee now (probably banished for having to many references to ComicFury).

Does anyone else start to feel eyestrain and headache coming on when they browse the forums?

Advertising discussion(that's fine it was dead)
The game room(they're fucking insane for doing this)

I think they're right in removing forums, without saying those are the ones that should necessarily be removed/merged together. It was a very conscious decision to have as little forums on here as possible, since it makes for closer-knit communities (since it prevents browsing forums selectively) and stops people from being too overwhelmed by the gazillion forums

also "people use tiny phones to browse the website so lets make the website tiny" is kind of a weird approach to the problem. When did fluid layouts stop existing? Like seriously there's like 400 pixels of actual content, making short posts on CF textwalls on DD

They made my head hurt this morning and I had to take tablets. Admittedly I had a few(+) drinks last night, but the pain didn't start until I tried to read that rant thread.

Good plan. It doesn't make you mean though. perhaps stuff like that might make someone sit up and realise how shit their design is.
