captain nugget was a smackjeeves users who was pretty much the only one who got away with constantly insulting everyone and their comic and get away with it. He was pretty much universally loved, it's weird.
Kyo:I don't know, I've kinda come to hate the gray beinggreen
pearl grey, dove grey -- grey pretty much defines dull, but it makes for a good backdrop when you're suppose to be lookin at comics.
that said, anything wrong with blue?
oh yeah, and: That Arden!!
I'm pretty shit at webdesign and I can't really pull of blue in a way that doesn't look extremely generic. Plus, I like green. The current layout is kind of a mess but amazing by my standards so we settled on that declaring it "Good enough"

Skullbie:I still want featured comics. I don't see any good reason against it
Because you eventually reach a point where you've burned through all the high quality comics and are stuck arbitrarily featuring ones that are passable enough for a mention. I remember DD had really strict guidelines on it for a while, and it couldn't be rated A or have porn, needed to update regularly, etc. The last I checked, pretty much anything goes, and I don't think they actually bother reading them.
Basically, it's a good idea for a while, but it can't be sustained for too long.
It shouldn't be long now. I've logged into the new site- Everything seems working fine.
Only real issues I've seen are small things that WILL be tweaked post launch (like faves list not staying sorted the way you want etc)
It's not long now before you'll have your stuff in order- you'll just have to redo your comic templates, which will be a chore, but it's still worth it to have a working site that CAN be updated!
Haven't they thrown around "nope, it'll be today for sure" about four or five times now?
