What the hell is it doing on the page where you READ the comic instead of being on the pages where you EDIT the comic?!
Yeah, new site, lousy workflow.

You know I'm no fan of their new website system so take this as best I can give. I guess if you can't change the look of your site much they might as well give you the option to modify it on the page itself. Kind of a neat "benefit" for authors I suppose.

Huh, looks like they did do the compression thing. Looks like they converted all the pngs to jpegs. There is some compression. I still have no idea why they did that. That's such a horrible idea.

Maybe they're going to switch them back and forth every now and then, just to keep people on their toes.

Arden:That's weird - not so long ago they were going to convert all the jpgs to png.
I think Ozone mentioned that they discovered most PNG files were becoming VERY large! Like they had been told would happen countless times. But... yeah...

because MOBILE PHONES! THESE THINGS ARE SO IMPORTANT GUYS, even though I'm pretty sure most modern 3g-4g devices can load .pngs and .gifs just fine.
Also it's great to see that they took none of the color scheme suggestions to heart.
edit: really digging how it's taking an eternity to load.
double edit:
triple edit: hey remember how they said templates would carry over, so if we had them edited we could still use our old templates but not really change them? hahaha yeah fucking right.

I would've had more respect for them if they'd just said "look guys, we bought this site and this is how it's going to be" instead of going through all this fake consultation process bs. They can do what they want with it, but at least have the courage of their convictions.
Edit: custom templates are indeed gone without warning but folks on the facebook pages say they it's ok because they had fair warning! Wowio managed this well by keeping all discussion off the main site - they knew most of us wouldn't sign up to that getsatisfaction thing.

i like how you can't even have a banner above your comic because why the fuck would I want to decorate my page. nope, just solid goddamn black, maybe change those navigation icons. boy this sure is comprehensive, no wonder they've been bragging about their totally awesome template editing feature
man, kyo is going to be flush with new users
edit: oh you have to go and add a comic header in the edit page, instead of using the template editor. that's dumb.

ehcuat:man this duck sure sounds like a bummer of a web sight
it's Real Bad
Also I'm laughing pretty hard at how they removed my Comic Fury sig. I'm just going to keep editing it back, you dummies. Only took me ten minutes to figure out how, but by gum with this map I drew out, I won't have to worry about getting lost again!

I went to read my PMQs and it just took me to a page that said "this comic has no pages yet."
My private messages are comics? What?

I suppose the best diversion you could do get out of this mess would to make the front page an image of Precious Roy with the text "Sign up for my newsletter! Suckers!"

That is one colorful turd of a website. A professional web designer would have an aneurysm.
