The Game Thread is for: VOTES AND PHASE SUMMARIES
Each person (except for me of course ^,~) is limited to three sentences while posting in this thread.
If you post long arguments in this thread I will give you Votes from above!
I’m serious....I’m trying this to keep the game from clutter. All that players should put here are votes.


Phases: Each phase will last at least 24 hours.
Zomburai and I can get busy at times. If this happens then the phase will continue until one of us say that it is over. Each phase is guaranteed to last 24 hours which means that at any point after that you should be careful because it could end at any moment.
Pictures will be up as soon as possible. If they are late I will make a post stating who was killed and will go back to edit it to include the story and photo

Introduction:

The town is quiet as usual. People go to work creating comic supplies, creating comics, or distributing comics. Most businesses in the town are comic related. Hence the name you suppose....

In the center of town was city hall where the Mayor worked. He generally sat in his office reading comics, but occasionally he was called to come officiate the grand opening of a new comic.

The police station consisted of the two policemen who answered to their Chief. There was only one Jail cell. The only real confrontations were over copyright issues and stylistic differences. As such, the police were great mediators. he cell was hardly ever used.

It was nice in Comictopia. Exceedingly nice. Some might say overly nice. Which was a bit of a shame in hindsight. Maybe, if there was a bit more distrust, then things wouldn’t have happened the way that they did...

Around noon a man ran into the police station. “They’re here! You have to help me!” He proclaimed. Rob and Magravan just laughed.

“Ranger, are you trying to start another forum game?” Rob asked

“No! Really!” Ranger exclaimed, panting for breath. “The Mafia are here! They’re trying to take over the town!”

“Why would they do that?” Magravan asks. “I’m sure the Mafia has better things to do than to fiddle with comic makers.”



Ranger shakes his head, “That was before...but you see,” he pulls out a scroll of paper with a rather lengthy analysis. “I’ve figured out who they...” Ranger is cut short by a blast to the head.



Magravan and Rob look for their guns. But alas...they were at their desks...in the drawer....

The Chief and Mayor were killed while out for ice cream that very afternoon. It seems that the Mafia were done using subtlety to get their way...

All seemed to be lost. BUT THEN! A letter arrived....

“Dear Town’s People,

You must fight against the Mafia! I’m a police officer in a city nearby. I mustn't tell you more lest the Mafia come for me as well. I’ve sent each of you letters. They will appoint new officials to keep the peace in town. Don’t tell anyone who you are! If you are able to find the members of the mafia then I shall bring a small force to bring them to justice. Unfortunately, until you are certain my higher ups will not waste the resources. Good luck.

A Friend.”

And here you are...Kill or Be Killed.

At least things shouldn’t be so boring for a while...


How to Play:
There are two phases: Day and Night

During the Night :

The Mafia Chooses one person that they wish to kill/convert
Those with Role send their Role PM’s

During the Day:

Those still alive vote on who they believe to be Mafia

PMs are in and I've written the script. When Zomb does the pictures the phase will change.

(Note: All names used in the flavor text were chosen at random. In case there were any questions…no..there are no hints here)

The village gathers at dawn for their first meeting to discuss the recent events. Macey brings cookies, Kristy provides tea. There is some tense chit-chat while people assemble.

But there are people that just don’t show up…

Three people in fact.

“They know…..oh god they know we’re on to them!” OFools yells.

“They’re going to kill us all!” Exclaims Fubar.

TLR tries to comfort them.

“Maybe they just overslept….” Frosty steps in.

“Yeah,” Agrees Kimmy, “I mean..it is DAWN!”

Paul takes a headcount, “Looks like we’re missing…Spinner, Matthew, and Orange”

“Well, Let’s go check on them.” Kristy proclaims as she walks toward Spinnerlink’s house.




The group stopped outside of Spinnerlink’s door. No one ever entered another Comicfurian’s house before. It was extremely poor form to do so without permission. Copyright laws….and all of that….

“Looks pretty normal out here…” Invader States. “SPINNER?” he calls.

There is no answer. When they try the door it opens easily. The latch has been broken.

The group is surprised by the sheer amount of technology that Spinner had at his disposal. In fact, his entire house was rigged with gadgets and tools. Ryan finds a room with displays of various security cameras.

After trying a few the group finds some special footage…



Spinner is working at his desk and mumbling to himself, “They’ll never catch me…I’ll see them coming from a mile away! No sir…there is no way that I’m getting lynched!” he holds up the Clockwork Triggering Device. “This should complete the alarm system nicely!” But all the metagaming in the world couldn’t save him from the Mafia’s reach.

A shadow moves behind Spinner. The group watches in horror as a gloved hand takes his Cogwheel Augur off of the wall and bores it into Spinnerlink's skull. The figure then drags Spinner quietly from the house.



The group leaves the building dejectedly. They are saddened by the loss of their friend. However, they’re encouraged that the METAGAMER is no longer a threat to them.



“Time to check on Matthew?” Sprite asks.

The group agrees and decides to head to his house. He also isn’t home. However, nothing seems to be awry. Puzzled, they continue forward to Orangelink’s house.

Orangelink’s house is also locked up tight. When doing a thorough search, however, Someone notices a small hole in one of his windows.

They boost TLR up to take a look. “He…..he…..” She shakes her head.

The group breaks another window so that they can enter the house and remove Orangelink’s body. They are rather surprised to find charts and graphs with all of the members of the community on them. Each of the graphs had the members paired with compatibility probabilities underneath. There are also approximations on how cute each couple would look in public and if they would produce attractive offspring. It is rather…offputting….especially with Orangelink’s corpse as a centerpiece. He took a small caliber laser between the eyes.



Two of you wonder if maybe you WOULD make attractive offspring….

Orangelink was CUPID

“Two dead…” Jrade states

“One missing.” His sister retorts


They split up and check the town. When they return Kimmy and Paul reassure everyone that MatthewJA is sleeping soundly in the jail.

Summary:
Spinnerlink-Metagamer was Killed!
Orangelink-Cupid was Killed!
MatthewJA is in Jail!
The Lovers have been decided!

It is now...

Well, that's the metagamer annoyance out of the way. And now, day 1 lynching. I'll hold my vote for a while like usual.

Anyways, I feel like no one voting isn't going to get us anywhere, so I'm going to put a vote on Invader Socks for now.

Reason being, I think he'd kill Orangelink. Of course he might be the merc if he did then, but that's not so bad to get out of the way.

Why all the Socks hate? I know why Paul thinks I would kill Orangelink, but I don't hold grudges. :I I wouldn't make my first kill the guy that tried to kill me in a past game. That's like a revenge kill. I'm not a revenge killer.
