Today I went to work, helped plan a bridal shower, and gave my poor lil' bro a neck and head massage.

The model we have yesterday was normally sized and she was one of the models for Dr Sketchy. I guess it's a variety. You need to apply to become a Dr Sketchy model, not anyone can get in.

Yeah, $15 seems like a good try. And for a session that goes from 9-2 a good deal per hour. I live near this really artsy place (Laguna Beach), there are actually multiple life drawing places there, the one I am looking into is at the art college.

I checked out the Dr. Sketchy thing, that is awesome looking.

You should join one :D You have really great potential to make really good art, and any chance for improvement is awesome.

I feel that I might be a bit nervous at Dr. Sketchy though, I'm not a very loud or out there person, but I feel it would be a really cool experience.

I have been reading this book about drawing force and movement, all the examples come from pictures from life drawing classes. Even the book has been helpful to just get me to think about the human for more and try to draw a bit looser, I tend to be really stiff when drawing.

I could see Dr. Sketchy being a bit awkward because I am quite quiet as well, but is also seems awesome.

Yeah, you should try forcing yourself to only allow a minute per sketch - we did that at life drawing and it meant the drawings became really loose and gestural and then move to 5 minutes, then 10, and then however long you need?

Yeah, it's hard being like that. Hard to get out of the quietzone.

Today, I got productive real early. And by productive, I mean read this article and watched the video that came with it.

Now I'm gonna see how productive the rest of my day is.

FINISHED MY DISSERTATION, FUCK YES.

I got so lazy towards the end, but I really don't care anymore, feels like I've been working on it forever. WELL it's done now, DONE. DONE FINALLY.
My first exam isn't for another 19 days, and I NEED a rest after all this bloody coursework and dissertation and wfiagjwn

I actually live in Mission Viejo, it is like 8 mins away or so. I know those naked statues as well, though my favorite statue they had there was this tire statue thing they had when I was a kid. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I don't think it is there anymore, or at least the line of naked ladies statues distract me from it.

Yeah, I'm technically from Aliso Viejo, but I attend LCAD. I don't think they have the tire statue thing, at least I'm not aware of it.
As for the life drawing sessions on Saturdays, it's a pretty good deal, yeah. The sessions are not instructed, but they're great for practice. I could forward you their email so you can get on their email list! :U

Today, I mowed the lawn, which normally would've paid me $5, but I got 2 cold root beers instead. Good enough.

I also was forced to play with one of Zachary's dumb friends.

Today my mom's horse gave me a back massage.

I was also a pillow for my sleepy pony who was probably bored because my sister left her standing in the aisle for almost an hour.

Went to add a few things and fix my links up a bit for my comic.

Jump Started working on the graphic novels again. Have just had three weeks where I was doing other stuff.

Did some more unscripted crap, gave up, burned it, played Fallout, gave up, made a much-too-spicy vegetarian chili, accidentally put wasabi in the very same vegetarian chili, spent ten minutes screaming in agony after eating possibly the spiciest thing in existence.
Yeah. I need to hide the wasabi.

Am about to go out on a 30+ minute exercise walk (I need it) with NEW SHOES.
