"Werewolf XIX", 24th Dec 2011, 5:32 AM #1
In a room above the basement where the wizard played his games, a much younger girl pulled a thick black book from the top shelf of many books. Her room was cluttered with them, with many stacks onto the floor collecting dust. It didn't seem completely like the room of a little girl, more of a young witch. Bringing the book to her bed, Adesa began to brush off the dust collected onto its surface.
There was really nothing to do in her room but read. Boredom began to consume her. Her brother wasn’t there anymore. Danar was already dead; she knew that. If only he was back. The games she played weren’t always as much fun without him around. He shouldn’t have tried to kill Father. That was a bad thing.
. . .
As always, she was bored.
Whatever her father was playing at that time was bound to strike her curiosity eventually, so she headed to the basement.
But when she arrived, he wasn't there. Something was set on a table in the middle of the room. She tilted her head. It was just a model of a small village. A tree with a small rope hung onto one of the branches. Tiny figures were placed in the middle of it. A gameboard? So that was what the wizard had been playing the whole time. Surely, something like this would eliminate her boredom.

The witch spoke to herself with a smile.
“I might as well try it just this once.”

ComicFuryville. A small village with a population that fits its small community. For the past several years, all has been peaceful and everyone knew each other. For all they knew, werewolves don’t exist. The werewolves that they had all heard so much about was only a mere story told from one generation to the next. It was also part of a popular game played by children. That was all werewolves are to them.
But according to legend, the goddess Adesa summoned werewolves to attack the town whenever she got angry or bored.
It was a cool but sunny autumn day. As leaves fell from the trees, all the villagers prepared food, hung up décor, among other things. This was the Full Moon festival, a time for annual celebration and worship of Adesa. It was hard work, and everyone worked together, which made everything worth it.
It was then getting late at night. The festival preparations were finished, and everyone went to bed peacefully.
. . .
“Que sera, sera…whatever you make will be…♪♫”
The village awoke to the sweet sound of music in the morning. Odd. Not everyone would listen to music this early. As they each saw each other one by one, they all searched for the source of that song.
And there it was.
One of the houses appeared scratched and torn up from the outside in. The back door was ripped from its hinges and the windows had been shattered to pieces. The villagers became suspicious and opened the partially broken front door.

White feathers and paper fell to the ground. The song was playing on a gramophone, its needle sliding along the vinyl record as it spun. A body had been pinned to the wall by several cross-like nails. The feathers of from wings gave been ripped from the back. Her body was scratched from the waist and blood stained her body and oozed down her leg and onto the floor. Near her body and the trail of blood was a small broken pair of glasses.
“Que sera, sera,” was written across the walls over and over in red. Assumingly, that had to be from the body of that girl... Her feathers, her glasses, her blood. From her tattered wings and star-shaped hairclip, that just had to be Seraphiim, a villager.
Just from looking at the bloody mess, one of the villagers vomited into the nearby bushes. As he wiped his mouth, a voice from one of the others was heard.
“Damn those werewolves. We’ll kill them. All of them!”
“Werewolves? Isn’t that just some stupid made-up story?” another voice called out. The villagers began to talk one amongst themselves.
“You haven’t heard? Our ancestors…”
“Some scary children’s tale…”
“I thought it was a game!”
“You’ve got to me kidding me…”
“But what about the festival?”
“…Adesa.”
Everyone fell silent. Adesa, their goddess. The way that Seraphiim was killed must have meant that she was unpleased. It could have been worse.
A thought came to someone’s mind.
“What if she summoned them… The werewolves?”
The villagers decided to handle this the traditional way. It was agreed upon that they had to put the festival on hold until they get to the bottom of this. They looked up at a large old tree in the middle of the village. A rope dangled on one of the bare branches. Old Lynchy. The tree that could solve all their problems when they had one. It was dying, and it hadn’t been used for lynching in years.
Soon, the villagers would have to find other ways instead. Yet, they knew what they had to do. They would play the game that they knew from their childhood, and the stakes will be higher than before. A game that would cost them their lives.
And so, the Day☼Phase begins.
- - - GAME☣RULES - Follow them or die.
- Each phase consists of a Day Phase and a Night Phase. All phases will last for twenty-four hours. Any votes or actions after that will not count.
- During the day, the villagers choose a player to lynch. The player who amasses the most votes will die. The lynched player’s role will be revealed and then we will move onto the night phase. Votes will be made in the thread and in public.
- During the night, the werewolves and the various roles will perform their actions.
- I can’t really stop the use of PMing, but unless there are exceptions due to the roles, it will be limited. There will be no role revealing to each other in PMs and in-thread until the end of the game. I want all of you to use the honor system here.
- Bold your votes. I mean it.
- Do not reveal your role in under any circumstances.
- Feel free to roleplay! In fact, I encourage it~! I don’t have any flavor roles to give out, so feel free to make up your own!
- Oh, and when you die, I’ll also make an icon of your death pic. Since I’m so nice like that~

- - - ROLES - It's mostly copy and paste, but it's okay, right?
- - - VILLAGE♥ALIGNED
The♥Villagers
- Your job is to lynch all of the wolves and win. That is all. There is nothing special about you.
The♥Seer
- Similar to previous games, the Seer can choose one villager per night to discover true alliances.
- The Seer is the only villager that is able to communicate with the Ghost.
- Using mystical traps and artifacts, the Seer has a 40% chance of surviving a werewolf attack.
The♥Guardian
- The Guardian can choose to protect one villager per night. That person will be protected not only from harm during the Night Phase, but also will be publicly protected during the Day Phase [ without revealing the role of the Guardian ], meaning that the guarded one cannot be lynched.
- If the Villagers still demand that the guarded one be lynched, the Guardian will take the villager's place.
The♥Ghost
- Once the Ghost is released, there is a 50% chance each night that the Seer will come in contact with the wandering spirit. After that, they may communicate in private.
- After his/her death, the Ghost may enact its vengeance on one villager at any time—day or night—with or without the Seer's initial contact, before moving on to the Big Village in the Sky.
- After contact with the Seer, the Ghost weakens the Fraud's facade, negating the latent ability and allowing the Seer to look at the werewolf clearly from that point onward [ even after the Ghost's revenge is complete ].
The♥Hapless Romantic
- This poor and miserable person has no one to love them all their life. Feeling pity for him / her, a mysterious girl gives him a love charm that would make the person of their choice fall in love with them. They can decide who they want as their lover at the beginning of the game.
- However, if one dies, the other will too.
- - - NEUTRAL☆ALIGNED
The☆Mercenary
- This villager has been hired by a girl dressed in black to kill anyone that might be a werewolf. The Mercenary cares very little about the lives of innocent villagers; to kill the wolves is the highest priority.
- The Mercenary may choose someone to kill every-other Night Phase. There is a 50% chance that it will succeed before the villager escapes.
- Committed to the end, the Mercenary will kill anyone who voted to lynch him / her.
The☆Sheriff
- Unchanged from Game IX, the Sheriff may choose one person per night to lock into a jail cell. That person may not vote in the following Day Phase and will be unable to participate in the next Night Phase.
The☆Vigilantes
- This villager rebels against the system. Down with the machine!
- At the beginning of the game, the Vigilante may secretly choose a side:
- Corrupt Vigilante: This vigilante has chosen to side with the Werewolves. They will work together to bring the village to its knees.
- Noble Vigilante: Having a change of heart, this vigilante has chosen to align with the Villagers to rid the town of the Werewolves.
- The Noble Vigilante can select someone each night, and that person gets one less vote the next day. The opposite is true for the Corrupt Vigilante - a vote gets added.
The☆Village Idiot
-The Village Idiot is an idiotic chap. He’s a bit dumb, to say the least…
-Panicked by the situation, he’s decided that he would prefer to be lynched than mauled.
-He will only win if he has been lynched by the end of the game.
- - - WEREWOLF☠ALIGNED
The☠Alpha
- This was the first villager to give in to the inner calling of the werewolf and thus has instinctual claim over the territory.
- By default, this werewolf is the spokesperson. However, he may choose another to be the spokeswolf, if needed due to "real life." (Whatever that is, you crazy villagers!)
- Instead of killing a villager, the Alpha has the opportunity to convert the victim instead. This can only happen once. It takes two Night Phases for the effect to take place. On the third night, the Villager will be converted. The next day, the village will be made generally aware of an addition to the werewolf pack.
- If the converted villager has a role, they may use it against the town.
The☠Fraud
- With a stronger aura than that of a standard werewolf, the Fraud is able to hide his savage emotions. The Seer will read the Fraud as Villager until a connection with the Ghost is made.
The♥Villagers
- Your job is to lynch all of the wolves and win. That is all. There is nothing special about you.
