I've always dabbled in art and reading comics. Since I'm not getting any younger, I decided it was time to put up or shut up. I consider myself more of a cartoonist. A few of my notable influences are Will Eisner, R. Crumb, Elzie Crisler Segar (Popeye the Sailor creator), James Dean Smith (creator of my all time favorite comic, Boris the Bear) and the many artist and writers that worked on Looney Toons.

Thanks Marius! I put a lot of thought to where, and when, to put things like Field Marshal Suffering into all of SDMW stories. At the risk of being cliche, SDMW has many layers. Yep, like and onion (There's the cliche!) I try to create it in such a way that it appeals to multiple audiences. If one were to go through both stories, starting with page one of "Year of the Rabbit", and dig through both the visual and narrative elements, they would find several stories. Each story working it's way to an eventual fusion and end game. Thank you for your comment! I hope I can continue to entertain and catch the scrutiny of your intuitive eye!

Thanks, Neil! I hope I can continue to entertain. Doing pages like this takes a lot of work. It went through so many changes. I didn't know if I'd ever get it right. It means a lot to me to know that all of the work paid off.

Thanks! I've been away doing freelance work. I like this story and hated leaving it, and the others, hanging.

I don't think I've complemented you for this before, but "Field Marshall Suffering." Bra-effing-vo. This whole messy dream is rife with great little touches like that. And the art is popping in colour. You made the right choice, there.

Both the main SDMW and this is benefiting from it.
