Webcomic description

Meat Head and his sidekick Band-Aid Boy battle supervillains along side a city full of superhumans.
There's individuals who are born with the super-gene. When they get into a life-or-death situation, the gene kicks in and saves them by activating a superpower relevant to the situation.
Now, there is a villain without this gene who is gathering the powers of others. Heat Head and his allies must find and stop him.

Since I don't foresee the details becoming relevant in the strips anytime soon, what she was about to say was that her car has an advanced auto-pilot system. It reads her heartrate and can tell when she's asleep, at which point it kicks in, flips on the hazard lights, and gently guides it to park safely on the roadside. The only reason they still got into a crash, and this is a spoiler for the next strip, the other car's driver was already dead and his car ran a stop sign to t-bone them.

Little fun detail: Meat Head is the only one not wearing his seatbelt.

If you haven't recently read the whole series after I started it back up again this month, then it will have been a long time since you've seen Meat Head and Band-Aid's cop friend Constable Marino, "The Nark." In this strip we learned that she's narcoleptic. Meat Head, is not. He's just simple.

After a long time on hiatus, Meat Head is back. After finishing Avatars, I spent a few weeks fixing up some of the little things I didn't like about all the strips so far. Then I had to overcome some writers block. After finally breaking the block, I hit a bit of a roll and wrote the plan for the next few strips. The result was something quite text heavy, but I'm still satisfied with what I came up with.

Also, fans of CSI: Miami might recognize a minor cameo in the background. It's Lt. Horatio Caine!

A bit of a more serious strip this week. Can't always just be about the jokes. Sometimes I just need to move the plot along.. Even if it is the start of a new plot, leaving the previous one hanging to pick up again later...
