Webcomic description

This is a fancomic of the Dragonfable Design Notes--this comes from an idea Artix mentioned, but never followed through. He mentioned fans could contribute--so I am!

(Comic put mostly on hold, as author has fallen out of touch with the AEGames community. For a comic updating, check out Red Hood Rider.)

I've gone by many names online and have been a veteran in communities for over nine years, now, but here I am to stay.

Originally, I came here because I used Flikr, with the same name before a slight change. It's where I normally had my webcomics. It was adequate for my needs at the time, but it has certain restrictions. Having 4 (at the time) webcomics, I thought it best to try and expand to other sites.

I do my webcomics purely for my own enjoyment, so I don't care about how low the quality is (mostly). I don't mind if people don't like it. But, hey, if others can learn to enjoy it, that'd certainly make me one happy writer. :)

Also, yes. I am THE Ranger. Living legend. Effectively a grandmother of CF.

(Current project: Red Hood Rider.)

Famous last words of Garven Dreis. :P

Technical comments: Well, no, not really, but close enough. :P Of his quotes, “Almost There” is probably one of the most famous. (If you count his scream, it’s that, if you don’t, then his line just before that would be it. “Almost There” is before that.)
Panel eight in this one is definitely weaker than I’d like. Other than that, a decent comic, but none are strong. The third and fifth make me smile, but not as much as I’d think a stronger comic could.

Artix’s past-obsession is probably an exaggeration. Probably. :P

Technical Comments: This one has some good moments, but for the most part, is a fairly weak comment. Galanoth took forever for me to draw, even with a reference image. As it is, I stole the legs (and left arm, for that matter) from Artix, because the original reference image had them obscured by Thyton. I think I did a good job at drawing him, though I’m not sure his hair’s supposed to be pure-black (certainly a dark shade, though).
It’s definitely something I will want to redo in the future, simply because of the art in the first, and the weak comments in panels six and eight. They were both hard to think up. The others, I like, those two, not so much.

Technical comments: I considered making Zhoom’s comment in code, but it takes more space and I'm not exactly competent at coding. ;)
Anyway, pretty much standard stuff.

…Or four, or five, or six… :P

Technical Comments: Artix really likes making RPGs, apparently. In Order, AQ, DF, MQ, AQW, WF, and ED, with another apparently coming some time in the distant future. I’ve personally not played WarpForce, and only just started EpicDuel (but it neat! :P), but I’m a veteran player in the others.
This is the first eight-paneled comic I made. That means that it took longer, but other than that, not much. There’s nothing particularly special about it, though I think this is the first one in quite some time which has decent humor in every comic (including the alt-text!). I suppose one of panels two or three could be considered a weak point, but it’s tolerable.

Hmm…maybe there’s a story behind why he specifies “non-alcoholic”? :P

Technical comments: The hardest part of this comic was the last panel. Zhoom’s hand was a quick job. (It shows, but meh, it’s good enough.) Artix took longer—I had to make sure I didn’t damage his cape. Repositioning his arm took several attempts to get right, and even as it is right now, it doesn’t look perfect, but I say, “meh, good enough”. Anyway, I think that overall, this one’s fairly good, not to mention refreshingly* short.
*This is an AE fancomic. Take a guess as to whether this is intentional or not. :P
