Well. I have been productive, sort of. And I swear I am gearing up for another batch of Rogues of Clwyd-Rhan pages, but based on my old track record, I won't be making any promises.
To build better habits, I'm taking part in Inktober, for which this was drawn in response to prompt #13. I am drawing every day and forcing myself to make room in my daily schedule for drawing, even if for the past two weeks, it has meant getting up at 5:45 AM. So far, art produced during Inktober has been pretty simple but during my days off, the complexity creeps up, and on Saturday, characters from ROCR turned up.

This update will be deleted from the archives when the real update is posted and its contents will be moved to the blog.

Left on Rain and mud!

Originally published on May 8, 2008 with art by Aggie Janicot whose layout this follows closely. Aggie also contributed colors to this new version.

This is a sign-of-life update; I held this page back in half-finished form in the hope of making it the first of a batch of regular updates. Those regular updates are not forthcoming any time soon, so I'm posting this now to show I haven't forgotten about the comic.

I do not want to talk about the reasons why it's taken so long and why I don't feel ready to resume regular updates. All I want to say is that the first half of 2018 has not been good for me so far and I have no reason to expect long-term improvement. What I have found time for is regular updates on Chronicles of the Witch Queen where all I have to do is polish work created a decade ago or drawn by other people. Chronicles of the Witch Queen has been updating daily for a month with two stories by Geir Strøm and Daniel Østvold, and will update daily for another month with a touched-up re-run of the storyline Courtly Manners 2:The Unicorn Race by Geir and Myself from 2005.

Originally published on May 5, 2008 as the bottom half of a double update. The redrawn version of the top half was posted last Saturday.
We're edging back to following Aggie Janicot's original page layout; her new coloring really enhances this page like it did with the last one.
