Webcomic description

Alex and Lucas are roomies and old friends. Follow their lives as they try to make it through the life of high school graduates. Hilarity, and mainly drama, ensues!
This is a reboot of a previous comic I had on Drunk Duck.

Current Projects:

Alexander and Lucas: The Old Archives (2008 - 2009)

Alexander and Lucas: Rebooted! (2010 - 2013)

Black Sheep (2013-2014)

Hello there! Apologies for missing last weeks update, I was busy hanging out with a friend and lost track of the days. To make up for it I have uploaded TWO comics for Black Sheep, however I have become more and more sceptical about ALR.

My reasoning? I hate working on this comic. I just don't care any more for the story or characters, I would much rather be spending my time working on Black Sheep and a fun little comic I came up with thanks to spending a lot of time with close friends on a Pokemon/Minecraft server. ALR is almost three years old now with exactly 89 released issues to it and honestly when considering myself and my long list of comics, this is quite an achievement for myself. I have terrible luck in even getting comics off the ground in most cases and ALR was the fourth comic in my 10 year span of spriting to make it past Comic 50. My very first actually released sprite comic, Alexander's Adventures, made it to exactly 111 comics; A Megaman Zero-based sprite comic I made with the help of an old friend Fayt made it to exactly 50 comics; Alexander and Lucas made it to 80 comics before I lost interest and now Alexander and Lucas: Rebooted! has made it to Comic 89.

I love working on Black Sheep, it's a fun challenge for myself that's widening the horizon of what I can do with my sprites. However whenever I want to work on comics and realize I need to do another ALR, I don't make anything. I can't bring myself to make any more comics unless it's Black Sheep but if I think about doing ALR first, I don't go through with it. I hate thinking like that but it's happening and I can only see two options: I stick to both comics and finish ALR, no matter how much I hate it, or I scrap ALR and focus solely on Black Sheep and working on future projects. Projects like that fun little Pokemon comic, or the Horror comic I have planned, maybe even the Doctor Who fan-sprite-comic.

I really don't know what to do here. I remember reading on the forums, and it is quite a well-known thought, that if you don't enjoy something you shouldn't force yourself to do it. At this point I neither enjoy working on ALR and am forcing myself to keep on top of the updates.

Honestly, chances are I'm going to discontinue ALR and slap together a page describing my last thoughts for the story, just like I did with Alexander and Lucas. I'll still end the comic, but not with a literal comic. More like a big wall of text.

So here's what I ask of you my devoted readers, what are your thoughts on this thought? Would it bother you if I stopped making ALR and just coped out an ending page or two? Do you think it's better to stop making ALR and focus on Black Sheep? I pretty much have my answers but I would like to hear what you guys have to say.

Thank you for all of your views and comments, thank you for taking the time to read ALR. 'Til next time guys, whether that's with Comic 90, the ending write-up of ALR, or Black Sheep on Thursday.

I don't really have much to say here. All of my good content was used in Black Sheep today. Bloody comic took me three hours to make.

Anyways, 'til the next comic.
