Comic description

Experience life on the wrong side of 35 through poorly photoshopped stock photos.

Hi, I'm Paul, and I can't draw. About a decade ago I did a series of webcomics called disTrack, Stocks and A Bad Idea. I used pictures I found in Google image searches.

Now, after many years I'm back with a new comic called Classically Trained. It's a look at the life of a former hardcore gamer who's a little lost and a little cranky.

I keep mocking the Fitbit when I stare at it in the store but I think that actually means that I probably want it.

I've lost 20 pounds since I started using the FitBit, and all I do is try to take more steps every day than my girlfriend.

I still have a long way to go. But this Fitbit is my shit, yo.

There was a time before cellular telephones, and people had wires that ran from poles in front of their house into their kitchens.

We had large grey boxes that we would connect to those lines in the kitchen and THAT is how we got onto the World Wide Web.

If all of that sounded like a pile of bullshit, then you are...I don't know, young? That didn't turn into the kind of dis I had hoped it would be.

I love all sports. I can sit and watch any sport, any time, any where. I don't care. Truly, I don't. There are some sports I can't get into. Cricket, for example. It just doesn't make sense to me. I tried. I would watch cricket matches and just sit there, staring at the screen, totally baffled by what I was watching.

Jai Alai is another one of those sports, like cricket, that I would love to watch and get into. But there's no information anywhere about the sport. Sure, there's a wikipedia page. But there's no Jai Alai section on Bleacher Report. There's no cleverly named Jai Alai blog on the network.

I want to watch some Jai Alai, let's make that happen, internet.

I love my mom. I love your mom. I love moms in general. But my mom has mastered the art of being passive aggressive.

This is a pretty typical conversation that happens in my home after my mom calls.
