Webcomic description

Don't Keep the Devil Waiting is our take on the Five Nights at Freddy's timeline and lore. It's the story of a family (the Aftons) and how loss, corruption, and murder have shaped their lives. We upload once a week on Monday's.

We are a mother/daughter team who loves Five Nights at Freddy's so much that we just had to start a comic (if for no other reason than to figure out the lore, the timeline, and put our theories out into the world). Debra (mom) writer, layout, lettering, theorist. Lydia (daughter) comic artist, graphic designer, lore keeper, theorist.

It may not get too hot underground, but with all those animatronics, Mike seems to be experiencing some discomfort. And I wonder what Morry is doing in Funtime Auditorium?

So our actual comic anniversary was January 8th, but we have a bonus for you. Since this is the one year anniversary, we decided to show you a picture of Jeremy/Michael at the tender age of one. He was so happy! And you have to love that shag carpet, rag rug and floral print couch. But my favorite thing has to be Aurora's atrocious 70's jumpsuit. It is truly an abomination unto Nuggan, but so is chocolate, so I'm not too worried about her.

Sorry we've been gone longer than we said, but between illness and a defective tablet cord, it just wasn't in the cards. Anyway, we're back and ready to go.

So funny thing, I wrote this one a while back, and I was looking through things, and I kept seeing three Bidybabs, but you only see two on night two, so I was wondering about all the noise you hear and where the other Bidybab was, and it came to me that William was using it. He's the one making all the noise. The Bidybabs might not trigger the motion detector. Then just a couple of days back, I was looking through more info on FNAF in order to make sure we are on the right path, and I came across the Electrobab that appears on the non-canon night!

Maybe they aren't canon, but maybe they can be used in an emergency, like we have?

Anyway, I thought it was cool because it must have stuck in the back of my head and just popped out when I needed it. Enjoy!

Between still not feeling good and having Christmas obligations, we do not have an actual comic this week. We offer instead this touching Christmas special featuring the Marionette giving gifts to the animatronics.

Happy Holidays to all of you. We will be taking next week off because we have a bunch of appointments, so come back the second week of the new year for a new comic.

Sorry for the break. We have been very sick. We weren't even sure we'd get this comic ready in time, but here we are.

It looks like Circus Baby has been very busy making things a little easier on her. Once again, the writing comes from Scott Cawthon, the game creator. When you push the button in Baby's control room, there is this sad little noise, and we interpreted it to mean that she is taking control of her "life" and deciding not to get zapped anymore. There are a lot of strange noises on night 2 that we had to decide what they meant story-wise.

Although we are not quite over this illness, we are going to try to have a comic up on Christmas Eve, even if it's just a bonus comic. Much love to all of you. We're glad you are enjoying the comic.
