My name is Allen Steadham and I've been a comic creator since 1980. I have previously co-written and drawn the award-winning Best Spiritual Comic (2008) and Most Profound Comic (2008) called "Due East." I have been happily interracially married since 1995 and we have three kids.

I am a nondenominational Christian, as is my wife. We have been in a Christian band together since 1997. I play electric bass guitar and sing. My wife sings and plays viola and violin.

I also write Christian fiction novels. I released a superhero thriller novel MINDFIRE on April 19, 2019 through my publisher, Ambassador International. My next novel is a science-fantasy called Jordan's World. It will be released July 1, 2019.

Here it is, the last page of Book 4! We wanted to end this story on a positive note, while still not leaving out that Crystal will not be happy about her daughter's conversion. We'll come back to that.

This is the second-to-last page of the issue. As you might have guessed, Brielle went to Carolyn's church, heard the Gospel preached and felt the need to make her decision to ask Jesus to forgive her sins, enter her heart and change her from within.

We didn't feel the need to show this because we already showed Carolyn's conversion earlier in the book. Now we will see what this means to Brielle as she takes on things from a new perspective.

Artistically, I was very pleased with this page. It captured the feel we wanted to portray and the lighting adds a nice dimension to it.

Oh, and that is a cameo from Cassie in Times Like This. She just seemed to fit in with the Austin scene somehow... :)

There had to be something to try and get in the way of Brielle going to church with Carolyn now, right? She's still not fully healed from her injury and sometimes injuries let you know they're still there at the worst and most awkward of times. This is obviously one of those times for Brielle. But at least she finally got some relief...
