I'm one of those guys that just can't decide what I want to be when I grow up. In addition to this webcomic, I write books (I have almost 30 books published, including a children's series about animal poop), manage a bookstore, and write a tea blog. In the past, I've taught computer science, managed engineers, designed integrated circuits, written much software, given a TED talk, competed in rodeo, and written a few hundred articles.

If you think about it, do lobsters and crabs really look any more appetizing than spiders?

If this looks at all familiar, it's because I poached the idea (and the edited book cover) from my own Twitter feed. I Photoshopped the book on October 6, 2015, and wrapped a Ferret cartoon around it today!

By the way, the ferret is thinking of trying out the bowtie look. Think it'll work for him?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer didn't have a singing and dancing extravaganza until the sixth season (the "Once More, with Feeling" episode), and we've got it right here in comic #26.

As a side note, the fourth panel of today's comic is definitely the most fun I've ever had drawing the ferret.

Everybody always wants to peek under the kilt. I wonder if people peek under lab coats? And I have absolutely no idea why Homer carries around a pair of binoculars. It's kind of worrisome.

If you look at how sex and gender are used (or not used) in medical studies, it's really quite frightening.
