The Evil Robot Empire doesn't have a very good PR department.

At least he knows he's evil, that's the first step to recovery.

This concludes our first M.A.R.s story, "Menace of the Growbot!" Thanks to D. Floyd French for co-creating, co-writing, and co-drawing, and to Abby, Chance, Tristan, and Jackson for inspiration. And thank you for reading.

The battle is over, and our heroes have won. Time to wrap things up. In the end, it seems that Chuck has learned a valuable lesson--sometimes you need to take a break and eat some ice cream.

Next time: the final page of the story!

We originally planned to make this a 12-page story. If you're counting, this is page 12. We had it planned out, and it would have worked, but when we got to page 11 I realized that if we had just a little more space we could show the Growbot shrink and add in a bit more denouement. So we made the story 14 pages.

I think the last panel may have been a little too mean-spirited for our intended very young demographic. My daughter was confused and concerned when Curvana melted the cute little robot. Little kids don't always get that just because something looks cute and innocent doesn't mean that it is.
