Mysterious is a small, sleepy city nestled in the southwest of Missouri.
It's a bit unusual, for it's population isn't like what you'll find in Branson, St. Louis or Kansas City. Here vampires walk the street in broad daylight. Ghouls carpool. Werewolves work office jobs. All right along side ordinary humans who, for whatever reason, are completely desensitized to the presence of their supernatural counterparts. In fact, they barely even seem to notice the otherness about them.

This is the canon explanation: Stevie is in no hurry to shake up her life, so she's comfortably enjoying her status quo. Zelda is getting her green card, so she can stay close to where her grandchildren are. Vornoff and Lopar are bumming around some alternate universe Earth where the age of invention is just dawning.
But what about Stevie, Zelda, Vornoff and Lopar? Yeah, I totally cut and pasted that.
Thank you! It's gonna be weird not coming up with new plots for these characters, as that's all I did for years.
