Comic description

Sixty years ago, in response a catastrophe that left the entire planet devastated, the city of Kalapor had sealed itself off from the steadily-spreading shockwave. A company called EpiCorp arose in the wake of the disaster and eventually became more powerful than most people even realize. And after learning about some of EpiCorp's darkest secrets, a band of unlikely heroes sets out to stop them.

Good god, has it really been a month and a half since the last update? I blame work. Real life sucks.

I think this is the end of the marker experiment. Maybe I'll try it again at a later date.

I'm going to try coloring the comic with markers for a while, just to see how it turns out. If it looks like crap I may end up switching back to digital. We'll see.

This page was originally going to be four panels. Same exact dialogue, but spread out in four panels. Didn't see much point in that once it came time to actually draw the thing. Maybe I just didn't feel like drawing that many cats.

This one should not have taken so long. I hate being sick.

I have good news and bad news.

The good news is, I just got a new job! Yay!!

Which means the bad news is, it's been keeping me pretty busy and I won't have as much time to work on ST and other things. So my sporadic update schedule is going to be even more sporadic than usual. Blar.

And that's a wrap for Chapter Five. I'm going to take a couple weeks to finish writing the next chapter and figure out where the rest of the story is headed. Yes, it really will be only a couple weeks this time.

To those who might be thinking: "If it was all a simulation, doesn't this invalidate everything that's happened for the past three chapters?" My answer is no, it doesn't. I've given this a lot of thought and I believe I've filled any potential plot holes.

And remember, just because it's all in your head, that doesn't mean it's not real...
