This is so, so late, and I apologize for that! I hadn't been feeling well, and on top of that, I had run into a block when trying to finish this page. I just couldn't figure out how I wanted to wrap this introduction up. I'm not totally happy with it, but I'm going to just relent and upload something!

The next two days, I will be spending all day helping with my job's training, so if I am able to upload anything, it will be something small and simple. I'll try to bring my iPad with me so I can at least sketch out an idea in my down time.

After that, my final semester starts on Tuesday! It's both exciting and nerve-wracking. (Well, mainly nerve-wracking.) The real challenge will be staying on top of all of my work and updating this comic in a timely manner. Wish me luck!

P.S. I swear I will update the layout soon so I'm not just using some random basic CF template the whole time. One day. Eventually.

It's only the second day, and I'm already getting lazy, lol. I was originally going to color this like the previous page, but I have quite a bit to do today, and I wanted to get it up in a more timely manner. Maybe I'll come back and update it with some colors later.

For this endeavor, I want to focus on coming up with ideas and uploading at a reasonable pace, so I'm trying not to be as much of a perfectionist as I usually am. I still ended up redrawing different parts of this page several times, though. Even though things in the first panel still look wonky to me, I eventually managed to pull myself away by the fifth redraw and decided to just let it go.

Also, I've been drawing for well over a decade now, and I still struggle so much with drawing hands. Is that a thing you ever get better at? Do artists exist in the world who are good at drawing hands consistently? Because that definitely ain't me.

Anyway, I've got some warm reception on yesterday's page, which I really appreciate! Thank you for the support, you guys.

The next page will be the last of the introduction, and then I'll start drawing more from my daily life and such. I'm hoping to get it out tomorrow, but it might be delayed a day. I know that at least one panel I have planned will be a struggle for me artistically, but hey, this project is all about pushing my boundaries so I can improve!

Edit: Oh, I forgot! You might notice a few familiar faces in the first panel. The webcomics referenced are Phoenix Requiem, Lackadaisy, Shattered Starlight, Fey Winds, and Cory Allan. It was fun to try to mimic so many different art styles!

Thank you so much! And thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

It was definitely very nerve-wracking for me, but it's a new year, so I figured I should try to push myself to get out of my comfort zone a bit!

Thank you for putting yourself out into the world... The first step is the hardest, and you've taken it!
