Pyrope and Vulkin might be hazardous, but they're weak and don't attack with much resolve. Frankly, at least half of the enemies in Undertale aren't trying all that hard to kill you, they just kinda...bump into you? I mean, literally, Temmie can kill you by trying to pet you. Shyren sings at you. Aaron just wants you to admire his guns. Jerry doesn't attack at all. Even actual warriors like Night Knight and the dog squad, who attack with real weapons, are all predictable and easy to manipulate. I think the only non-boss enemies that would give Flowey trouble would be the Amalgamations, which are so drenched with determination that they're literally unkillable (which I guess pokes another hole in Flowey's speech in Genocide about having killed everyone).

Undyne the Undying, though...I'm not sure. Would she become Undying against Flowey, or would she melt like she does if you kill her in a neutral run? I don't think there's anything in the canon that answers that question with any certainty. Either way, she would be hard to kill at first, but Undyne fights fair and her attack patterns are extremely predictable no matter which mode she's in. Honestly, Mettaton would probably be a bigger problem, since his default form's defenses are literally inpenetrable. He'd have to trick him into transforming before he'd even stand a chance, but it's doubtful Mettaton would fight Flowey in the first place, since Frisk being human is the reason he got dragged into the whole thing. Come to think of it, that's probably another potential character on the growing list of "Flowey is a big fat liar saying he's killed everyone because he definitely never killed this guy."

Man, Flowey. You suck.

But again, this is all just headcanon.

What about pyrope and vulkin, I mean these two are literaly made of fire/lava. Or undyne the undying, to bring in a genocide character.

I've actually thought quite a bit about this one. Personally, I think Flowey could have killed (almost) everybody, but probably not all in the same timeline. I doubt he'd survive a full-on genocide run even with resets. Flowey is all about sneak attacks and underhanded tactics. Once word gets out about a genocidal flower in the underground, everyone and their mother would be out to get him, forcing him to reset back to a point before news of his murders got out. Sure, he could probably kill quite a few before being noticed, but we can see in the game that news travels fast in the underground and he'd only get so far before the monsters bulldoze him. No matter how much damage he dishes out per hit, he just wouldn't be able to keep up.

See, his attack in the tutorial deals more damage than anything else in the game. I know taking out 19 HP is just the game's way of shocking the player, but I still take it at face value. I'd say Flowey (without soul power) is second only to Frisk when it comes to raw offensive power, but like Frisk, his defense is garbage. They're both glass canons. Plus, being a plant, he's probably vulnerable to fire, which is why Toriel had no trouble sending him packing at the start of the game, since she hurls fireballs. A lot of people talk about the epic battles Flowey would have with Sans, but honestly, Sans is only tough to fight because of the dodge mechanic. Flowey does say Sans has caused him his fair share of resets, but I think he would have eventually resorted to fighting dirty and just killing Sans in his sleep. So I totally buy that Sans ate it more than a few times in past resets.

So who do I think Flowey would have had the hardest time killing? I'd say it's Asgore. Not only does he hit hard, but he absorbs damage like a sponge and his main elemental attack is--you guessed it--fire. I mean, let's be real, if Flowey had killed Asgore before, he would have taken the souls once Asgore was out of the picture. My guess is he's only managed to kill Asgore once, and that was the time Frisk fought him. Without somebody to whittle down his massive HP to almost nothing, Flowey didn't stand a chance of beating Goat Dad.

That's all just headcanon, of course, but I don't think it's too far-fetched.

It kind of makes you wonder. In the game he brags about how he's killed everyone at least once, but how much of that is true and how much of that is the braggings of a kid trying to sound tougher than he is?
