After defecting from the Cosmic Pirates and being left for dead in the cold vacuum of space, Leika Vidali unexpectedly crash-lands on Planet Denz, a world of parties and fun. But her struggles are far from over, as her former crew is on the move, hunting her down to finish what they started...

This is what happens when I thumbnail a page without realizing how many panels I planned out.

So. That hiatus went on quite a bit longer than I intended. I've been dealing with a lot of personal matters lately, ranging from depression, to creative burnout, to just flat-out getting bored with doing more or less the same thing for months on end. Spacing Out is back on my work list, but due to some self-reflection and examination of my own behavioral patterns, I've decided to try something different in terms of the way it updates.

I feel like I'm constantly being distracted and facing burnout when I work on just one thing for anywhere between a week to several months, and for a while I've suspected that I might have an attention-deficit disorder (though, not having the resources to get properly diagnosed, it's hard to say). I've always found myself more at-ease and able to focus when I'm doing a little bit of work on a lot of different things.

Spacing Out will still update, though at irregular and possibly infrequent intervals, and I'm going to aim at getting at least one or two pages out every month in addition to the other projects I'm working on, which include a novel, a short game, and three other comics.

Sorry for the wait, and thank you for sticking around.

There won't be a page next week, due to some schedule issues at work and a serious case of art block.

Sorry for the wait,
