Cooke:Well don't spam links in YouTube comment sections.

Kevtrev:One piece of advice I heard was, just leave comments on other videos. Not spammy advertising comments, but genuine ones.

This. So much this. There is nothing that will make me avoid a channel more adamantly than someone just posting something like, "Oh, this was neat. Now click on this link right now and come check out my channel! Don't forget to subscribe to it!"

Also, on the off chance that you like using a CLI, ImageMagick is free, and if you're on a *nix system there's a chance that you already have it installed.

I did have an idea for something like an intro comic, so if someone else is thinking of hosting and looking to partner up with someone, I'd be down for it.

I did have a thing planned for a Christmas event that I'm working on. It's not a crossover exchange though, so anyone can still pick that up.

An option to set the number of comics viewed per page in the Advanced Search section? At times, can be fun just browsing through all the comics.

Shared this on Discord, but thought I'd post it here as well.

Finally done after two days of work on him. Still a teensy bit of tweaking, but he's pretty much finished. Now to put him into the comic.

Heh, this is fun. I have no idea who that character you're describing is, so I'll sit back and wait for someone else to answer.

Heh, this was fun to do.

Basically went with who could kill whom. Of course, there's some variance, hence the "+" and "–" additions. So a C+ should be able to defeat a C, albeit with some difficulty, and a B- should be able to defeat a C+, also with some difficulty. Though, I guess mutual-kills would be a possibility as well.

My reasoning:

SS - Once-in-an-era magical prodigies, the likes of which could fight an army to a standstill (and in the case of the Master, it's something he's actually done). Not gods by any means, but powerful enough to be likened to forces of nature. Possibly immortal. Anyone who is in this tier is a powerful magic user.
S - The sorts who, if not for the likes of the Master, would normally be considered the most powerful characters around. That said, I'd say that there's a very wide gap between SS and S. These people are immensely difficult to kill, have decades or even centuries of experience, and while they probably couldn't fight an army by themselves, they are certainly enough to turn the tide of a battle. Very few people in this rank do not have access to some magic.
A - Deadly and unique individuals. Hard to kill, but a sword through the chest should do the trick, unlike with S-ranked folks who can shrug things like that off. Vital to success in battles, whether through raw power as in Deryn's case, or through stealth and infiltration as with Rainard. Could fight off dozens of enemies before eventually being overwhelmed. Usually magic users, but not always.
B - Top-tier human (or non-human) types, typically physical types at the peak of their abilities, though magically-augmented individuals such as Aldebrand or (berserk) Hartwig are present as well. Lower-ranked magic users can be found here as well.
C - Highly competent individuals, often with either years of experience in combat, or budding magical talents that give them a significant edge in combat.
D - Regular soldier types, or magic users without much in the way of direct combat magic (though possibly combat-useful abilities).
E - Average humans, or magic users without any combat-useful abilities.
F - The likes of small children or cute and fluffy animals. And Joakim.

I may very well do another one, this was quite enjoyable :)

Oh, very pretty! I've always loved those guys ever since I saw a picture of them in a book. Sadly, have yet to see a group of them in person :( Still, one can dream!

Agreed. You should go ahead and start posting 3D stuff you've done. That way, we 3D folks can chime in and help you with whatever you need. And also, yeah, rigging is a completely different skill from modeling, so you can tackle that later on. Heck, I'm four chapters in with my comic and I'm still learning better ways of going about rigging, heh.

Jeremy7:I don't know how to pull images from google, but I take it you've heard of M&Ms? (Though they're already kinda personified...)

If you need a reference, I'm going to need some help getting an image off Google.

1. Click the image you like in Google Images
2. The preview will show up on the right
3. Right-click the image, and then select Copy Image Location
3b. Alternatively, select View Image, and then copy the address from your address bar
3c. Alternatively, alternatively, just click on the image, then find it on the page that loads. Once found, do one of the two above.
4. In the forum, post the address between [img] tags. It will look like this:
[img]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/Plain-M%26Ms-Pile.jpg[/img]

5. Hit Post, and you'll get this:

6. Celebrate!

Turkish delights, please :) As a female, if possible, but any will work.

Oh, and you mentioned we could suggest how the character might look? Possibly something Middle Eastern, what with being Turkish and all, heh. Although, like with the gender, I'm fine with anything :)

EDIT: Forgot to spoiler the image for size. Should be fixed now.

Alternatively, if you don't want to do the modelling yourself and instead want to focus on the posing and making of the comic, there's always the option of hiring someone to model and rig the characters for you. Not sure if you'd find anyone here, but if you head on over to places that specialize in 3D, you're bound to find someone. It might wind up being pretty darn expensive though.
