I've done a little streaming. I'm not exactly an expert so take what I say with a grain of salt though

Either Youtube or Twitch are fine, probably. Twitch is a bigger platform for streaming in general, and Youtube is well known for its monetization/copyright kerfuffles, so keep that in mind. If you're gonna play music during the stream, and then save it as a VOD on Youtube, you'll probably get copyright striked. Technically, you also shouldn't play copyrighted music on Twitch, but that's more of a concern for Twitch-affiliated partners I believe.

You'll want to get OBS. Everyone, even professionals, use OBS. Then you can just look up tutorials for streaming to Youtube or Twitch. OBS is very well documented, so whatever you need, you can google for a solution or tutorial.

Art streams don't need constant chatting, but for better engagement, having your mic on is probably the right choice. You don't have to constantly talk, but you can welcome people and answer questions about what you're doing. I'm a chatty fucking cathy so I never shut up, usually I talk about what I'm reading/watching or the decisions I'm making while drawing.

If you really don't want to talk, maybe recording and posting as a video would be a better choice. The point of streaming is to engage with the streamer more than just consuming their content.

I do not know how to code so I can only assume my layout will look as if a lawnmower ran over it.

I am trying to do a two column layout on the overview/main page. On the left there should be a downscaled image of the latest comic (600px as opposed to 900px in the archives) and on the right you got your social links and news post.

Screenshot as is right now:

Mockup of what I'd like the final layout to look it:

But you know. Better spaced and such.

Overview code:

CSS:

Thank you in advance for anyone who tries to help, I'm completely code inept.
